all models show this just passing through and not stalling, so Htown is not going to get drowned.

last time I got hurricane drunk midtown, a german engineer working with us pissed in the street and got up on a table at barcelona legit screaming his national anthem

I thought these people had no pride
It was also 50c beer day at the horse track. Legit ****ing lol at these kids with all this 'neerin cash just getting obliterated.
I woke up in my hotel shower with the lights off and the water running on me fully clothed

I missed Htown and visited recently. Absolutely disgusted at the mall by the people. They actually were staring at me like they hated me because I look white. Maybe saw handfuls of whites at this overcrowded mall.
Tried to stop at a gas station right downtown and you can guess how that harassment went.

still hate austin more

Hurricane Laura is obviously a white hurricane thus making it systematically racist... She will target all black communities first and likely spare the rich white suburban gated communities

Why is that area not evacuating yet? This thing is gonna hit at Cat 4/5 after it spins more energy from the Gulf. All those people densely packed into those areas wont make for good times.

Houston has horrible drainage and the $hit mayor that has gotten elected twice now doesn't do $hit to fix it! While I wouldn't evacuate for the storm itself.. the rainfall should it stall even for a short amount of time would leave a lot of the city under water...again!! But locals know what areas are prone to flooding because they have been dealing with it for years now...

But for me none of this $hit really matters.. I am an hour north of Houston.. if it floods I just stay the fk home

The current track is good news for Houston & Galveston. You're still gonna get a storm but not like Beaumont and Lake Charles are gonna get. The place to be is west of the eye.
