JFL @ the delusion ITT. The whole world isn't the misc.

I'd say Bill Clinton, or JFK.

Just off popularity alone. If they coukd keep going and going and never die.

FDR
Reagan
Clinton
Obama.

Now if you put these guys up against one another at the end of their terms. Its hard to say. Fdr is the only one to ever have a 3rd term

Survival. When the jungle tears itself down and builds itself into something new. Guys like you and me, we end up dead. Doesn’t really mean anything. Or, if we happen to live through it, well that doesn’t mean anything either.

This. If Grover Cleveland wasn’t on that bloatlord lifestyle I think he would’ve hade 4-5 terms overall as President.

The Last President 1900

Lockwood, Ingersoll, 1841-1918.

Chapter 1

That was a terrible night for the great City of New York - the night of Tuesday, November 3rd, 1896. The city staggered under the blow like a huge ocean liner which plunges, full speed, with terrific crash into a mighty iceberg, and recoils shattered and termbling like an aspen.

The people were gathered, light-hearted and confident at the evening meal, when the news burst upon them. It was like a thunder bolt out of an azure sky: "Altgeld holds Illinois hard and fast in the democratic line. This elect Bryan President of the United States!"

If he was younger...reagan.

Reagan was relected in one of the worst blowouts in the past 100 years. He defeated an incumbent as well in a huge blowout.

His vp followed with another blowout win.

Bush should have won in 92 but he got splintered by Perot. Reagan going for a 4th term there with a huge loyal following would have ensured Perot was not drawing away votes.

Add in some 90s tech boom and it's conceivable Reagan wins again in 96 for a 5th term.

Adding in Nixon's blowout in 72 and you basically had almost 24 years of major blowout gop wins...no party has dominated the white house like that it in some time.

ITT: people listing presidents who literally died during their terms and therefore would never have been reelected.

- Abe Lincoln
- JFK
- FDR
- RFK

If you want a non-meme answer the contest is decided by 2 things: popularity and lifespan.

James Madison, Harry Truman, and Ronald Reagan were all popular and probably would have been reelected for a long time. Also they lived for a long time after leaving office.

Longest? It's hard to guess. Early presidents were pretty popular at the time. Both Theodore Roosevelt and Andrew Jackson had a lot of populist support and may have gotten third terms. However they didn't run.

Franklin Roosevelt served 4 terms so I would say him. He has a 2 term lead on everyone else.
