From what I've read, the shooter was one of the protestors too. It was inevitable. SJWs always turn on each other. It's all about ideological purity with them. When they run out of businesses to burn and stores to loot, they look for new targets to direct their rage at.

Those BLM mobs are full of armed LARPers now. Only an idiot... and let me say that again for emphasis... ONLY AN IDIOT willingly puts themselves in the middle of a crowd like that after what we've all seen for the past 3 months on TV. In the mob is probably the most dangerous place to be during a BLM event once the sun goes down. Violence is always on their agenda and unless you can watch EVERYBODY around you and behind you and above you (buildings, windows, rooftops, etc.) and in front of you, you can easily find yourself in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm not a veteran, but I have to believe this is covered in "situational awareness 101" on day #1.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

Zero empathy for any of them. Especially not for the shrieking shrews out there trying to get virtue signaling footage for social media.
Anxious to hear the full story. I saw a clip of an armed group that voiced their support for the protest, so maybe it was one of them who shot?

can't believe this is the state of journalism in this country
They're not journalists, they're a brainwashing network. Vice, Tim Pool, ABL, etc, these are the real journalists of our age. People who either go on the street with their own money or research stories the media covers up.

At what cost? The DA, mayor, governor, are providing protection to the rioters. They will prosecute and jail innocent civilians defending themselves or their livelihoods against these rioters.

If you’re a business owner down there and insurance won’t cover damages, then you have to defend your livelihood. But there isn’t any reason for people out of state or out of town to run down there to mop up the rioters.

This is why the people havent stood up yet...They know the rioters and protesters arent going to be touched but if they try to defend their life/property they will be immediately tracked down, arrested and prosecuted to the full extent of the law...

Do you think the law is diligently seeking the identity of last nights looters like they are the shooter today...LOL-NOPE.

...Everything is turned upside down. The law/courts used to side with the common citizen and not with the common criminal.

If the government actually supported citizens defending their life and their local property this ALL would be over in 24 hours..

It's arguable if allowing your business to be torched is any better, your livelihood is attached to that. The amount of effort that goes into owning a business...only to see it go up in flames with no protection from government.

So far no militiamen I've heard of have lost their lives, and Kyle (the shooter last night) looks like he has a decent self defense case. I'm not saying it will come without sacrifice but you cant let the left run amok on us. It will get far worse politically/culturally if that happens.

If you’re a business owner, and your livelihood is tied up into that business and insurance won’t cover damages due to rioting and looting, then as a business owner and provider for your family, you have to defend your business. There is no other option.

However, by doing so, the owner has to understand that if he ends up shooting or killing someone while defending his business, the Democratic led leaders who are condoning and enabling the rioting and looting, will do everything they can to prosecute, and take everything from you, the owner, for protecting our business.

It’s a no win situation for the business owner, but if you and your family’s livelihood depends on it then you have to do what you have to survive.

Others who don’t have a business down there, should rightfully be pissed off at what Democrat leadership is allowing. However, it would be foolish for people out of state, outside the city to come help protect it. Afterall, the left is getting what they voted for. Why should others come to the rescue to end up prosecuted?

Problem is, the “resistance in a robe” judges, DAs and city prosecutors, and even cops will drop the hammer on the good guys and release the scum.
How do you propose stopping it? Just shooting everybody there?

Yeah a couple black businesses were burned up. If I had a business I'm defending it, standing right there in front of the store loaded.

Defund the politicians and judges. Sure there’s a few bad cops just as there is in any profession. Politicians and judges seem to be the opposite, being corrupt or inept is more the norm than the exception.
