Thanks bro. Thankfully the rest of my family left this morning besides my dad who’s riding it out with a buddy. My fiancé is 32 weeks pregnant so we gtfo yesterday.

Here is another suggestion. Take your phone or ipad and video everything inside of your house and outside of your house. This will help immensely with insurance claims so you can prove the damage done.

You have to take it pretty seriously when the NHC says this:

From the NHC advisory:

"Unsurvivablestorm surge with large and destructive waves will cause catastrophic damage from Sea Rim State Park, Texas, to Intracoastal City, Louisiana, including Calcasieu and Sabine Lakes. This storm surge could penetrate up to 30 miles inland."
