Literally nobody thinks those consoles are more powerful than PC.

The console specs you do get for the price though is much better than PC. To outshine the next gen consoles you need to pay like what, triple the cost to build a PC? Most likely more.

Consoles have their purpose as well. Brb PC master race yet don't have access to some of the masterpiece exclusives from sony. Brb PC master race yet stuck sitting hunched over your desk while console boys relax on their sofa behind their big TV screens, enjoying playing games with their friends etc. Brb PC master race and having to deal with a bunch of hackers.

I have both a PC and ps4, will be getting ps5. Why not enjoy both?

Consoles are all locked to 28 or 30'fps of i remember correctly if its running smooth at 30 shouldnt notice a dfference

There's nothing stopping you from having both.

Pc's are great performance wise but console games are a lot more stable.

Xbox X can’t even run new assassin’s creed at 4k 60 fps, and their signature game Halo runs like chit. PS5 ratchet and clank is stuck at 4k 30 fps, how is this even an upgrade that is “ten times faster” ?

Honestly, the companies that make video cards usually release some BANGERS shortly after console release.

The reason? PC gamers now know what consoles are packing, and if it's near what they have they want to upgrade ASAP (otherwise their rigs are getting SMACKED by a $600.00 unit and it's embarassing). Look for ATI and Nvidia to drop some serious bombs after next wave of consoles make it to market to extract maximum dollars for PC master race boys.

99% of console brahs are happy with that.

PC master race
There is more to PC vs console choice besides hardware. We have no idea what framerates PS5 is going to provide and there is no way to assess this up-front. One should expect 60fps at least, but anything above that is not guaranteed. So if you want to be sure of getting a top notch performance, like guaranteed 120, 144hz or even above, you should rather build yourself a PC.

Depends on a lot of stuff, what's your use case?(like are you going to use the pc on the tv or at a desk with a monitor) Are there pc exclusive you want to play? Will you regret missing out on Sony's exclusive? Because people here don't like to admit it but Sony's exclusive are almost always some of the best game of the year. And pc exclusive are for the most part trash aside from a few gem here and there.

What I would honestly do is, build the pc (don't wait for price to drop, the slight decrease in price isn't really worth the year of longevity you lose imo. Then next Christmas or early 2021 buy a ps5. The best experience is definitely on pc but the best game are often exclusive .. god of war, spiderman, the last of us, breath of the wild (I know that's a switch one but I can't say "the best games" and not mention it lol)
