Despite meaningful postseason basketball being played on a daily basis, NBA Playoff viewership has dropped from 2.39 million average viewers in 2019 to 1.68 million in 2020. That is a 30 percent decline.

Meanwhile, the UFC’s four preliminary cards since the promotion returned from its COVID-inspired hiatus have done an average of 1.17 million viewers across ESPN and ESPN+. That number is up 30 percent from what pay-per-view preliminary cards did in 2019.

Didn't watch vid but why is the NBA losing ratings? Is it because of all the BLM advertisements? I dunno man, if Doncic continues to play the way he's been playing he might be able to keep the NBA afloat.

I used to love watching sports, it was fun to just chill out from the normal grind of life, drink with some beers with friends, and shoot the ****. We would frequently bring new people into the group to hangout. We just wanted to be entertained.

Now they’re attempting to shove politics down our throats. Which isn’t the best atmosphere to bring new people into the group, or if you have people in the group with different beliefs it leads to division. It’s like inviting friends over to watch Hannity.

Has little to do with politics, delusioncells are strong ITT.
Ratings are down across the board and nba games get aired at 4 and 6 est, on weekdays even earlier for other people with time zones. This is really what is dragging down ratings.
Lot of places can’t go to indoor bars and watch the game either.
College ball crew is gone so hype around nba is already going to be way less with that crowd missing.

Bubble has just made things overall terrible, even with sports betting spreads have been garbage throughout entire bubble and even during finals.


UFC doesn’t have issue as much cause smaller ring has made things more interesting and they just spam ads to keep their main card fights late and on track.

I was raised Baptist. When you’re told your whole life you’re inherently bad (the opposite of the truth) eventually you’re going to say enough is enough. Don’t get me wrong i’m a Christian but all that going to hell and gay hating **** has no place in my heart.

The truth is 95% of people just want to make it through this life without hurting anybody and help their family and friends. The other 5% are worthless ass holes and they come in every color and every profession. I hope it’s more like 1% but it may be as high as 10%.

I was walking by a black guy yesterday in my neighborhood. I was not in a smiley mood. I went out of my way to say hi and wave and smile anyway. This morning i ran to bk for coffee. Same dude rolls his window down says good morning i do the same. I am noticing this phenomenon in many places. Because most of us understand whats happening. The media enjoys scaring and dividing people. Its about views/money, control and power.

Haven't watched a "professional" event since Kaperwhatever took his traitorous knee. Haven't bought a Nike or McDonalds product either.

Get woke go broke. Leave religion and politics at home or get left alone. If there is a demand there will be a market.

These morons are thinking they are taking away cultural things the silent majority loves, but in reality from the ashes a more "asexual" and religious/politically silent product will birth as history proves. Christianity that avoids basic principals that Jesus taught....is not Christianity.

People want to stop at "God is love" and "Christ died for you" but they dont want to hear about "stop sinning", "pick up your cross", "Hell is real", "Satan wants t destroy you" and "repent"...

The "God is only love" message is part of the plague of prosperity gospel and new age Christianity. Its clearly outlined in Revelations as the great apostasy right before things get real in the end times.

Same watching UFC and Bellator more than ever. I have also watched some of the NHL. It's refreshing to watch sports because you want to watch sports without a stupid political narrative.


I have also gotten back into Nascar. I used to be a diehard. They bungled everything with Bubba Smollet but he has sucked even more since that BS that it doesn't even make sense to bring his name up.
