Other than the ammo, all of these things are still pre-Rona pricing, they're just higher end product. A Geissele has been and continues to be a $2000 rifle, so you're buying a 2k AR for 2k. By comparison, the cheap rifles were $500 pre-Rona, but are now 850-1k if you can even find one.

YMMV, but if it was my first AR I'd still spend $700 on a nice PSA kit (nickel boron bcg, CHF harrell) and $100-150 on the price gouged lower.

You're right the super duty will be a better absolute value relative to what it should actually cost. The nicer PSA stuff isn't bad though. FN makes and stamps their CHF barrels. Their NiBor BCG is Toolcraft.

Just saying, if someone had a total of like $2k to spend, I'd grab a nice PSA and some ammo cases over the Super Duty and a pocket full of rounds.

Every component on it is premium.

The gas system is tuned to make it soft shooting, the trigger is upgraded, controls are ambi. You'd have to spend significantly to make this unit (https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-...s-l-rifle.html) as good as this one feature wise, but the barrel will never be as good. The Geissele is a Gucci-tier rifle out of the box.
