It's call Naltrexone it reduces the desire to drink

I haven't tried it yet but if anyone is struggling it may be worth it to change your life

Isn't that the one shot a month medication? Heard it works wonders for those struggling with opiates too, of course if they want the help.

No, the proper way to take it is an hour or two before you drink, and only then. Not daily. Check out the Sinclair Method.

C3 Foundation has a list of doctors. You can get an appt and prescription on MDProactive really easy.

its the same drug for opioid overdose but pill form. It blocks the opioid affects on your brain. It is also used off label for depersonalization / derealization.

That isn't how you are supposed to take it according to the instructions that come with the drug. It says not to drink at all with it. It has a weird affect when mixed with alcohol.

Works as long as you take it. Problem is if you want to relapse you just need to stop taking it for a week or so then you're good to drink again. If you're real bad you won't even stop taking it consciously wanting to drink-- you'll tell yourself you are better now and don't need it.

Edit: realized after posting that the drug he took was antabuse which is different. I imagine the same thing applies though.

Best of luck boyos I recommend doing the exercises and some community chats onwww.smartrecovery.orgif you want to gain power over your addiction(s).

I think you're thinking of antabuse. That is an entirely different drug
