Looks like it went to the East of Houston this time. The videos on YouTube this morning show a lot of damage in it's path, though.

looks like the hardest winds and surge were slightly east of camerons in the swamp. thank god for that. but i can assure you cameron is no longer.

How was the storm surge in comparison to the apocalyptic predictions they had? Did they get lucky? Most of what i've seen so far has been catastrophic wind damage.

since the storm hit dead on the surge was about 9' for the cameron area. it could have been upwards of 20' to the east in the swamps. gonna have to ask the gators about the height

Yeah I’m thankful it wasn’t worse. It looks like mostly exterior damage. My dad is lucky, I heard a 14 year old was killed by a tree falling on their house.

4 downed trees in my gym parking lot, but the owner, who is 84 years old opened the gym up at 7am this morning with 1 other worker.

Currently lifting with a bunch of others. Feels like a normal day.
