bumping great thread.

applied for my FOID (illinois license) on June 1st. Got it in my hand by Aug 20th.

Bought a gun a few days ago and needed a background check so picking it up today. M&P9 2.0 3.6''. Damn near $500 but thats what I get for waiting so long. Already have the itch to buy more guns but I want to be practical here.

Had a friend in Missisippi buy me 500rds of FMJ for $150. They have a tax free weekend going on now.

Signed up for my Concealed carry class next week. In 90 days i will be carrying.

Anybody buy a gun off basspros. I just bought a canik from website to store and the order is “ processing”. I have heard they cancel the order in a couple days, while advertising the gun in stock.

I've successfully bought ammo off cabelas/basspro. I have heard of some orders getting silently cancelled. As many orders as they get with people swarming anything available I wouldn't be surprised. Their inventory system isn't the greatest, probably because it's overwhelmed.
