for me 90% of boot brands are uncomfortable as phuck. If I want a boot i'll lean more towards comfort, than fashion. My arches fell when I hit puberty so I have flat feet and boots destroy me after about a mile of walking in them. I have a couple pairs of $200 boots just sitting in my closet with less than 5 miles of wear on them for that reason alone.

Best pair of general boots for walking/going out have been thursday boots. Red wings have good work boots and are okay for walking. Just don't like the style. Expensive but will last a long time. Wolverine has nice af shoes. I only have wolverine hunting boots. Too expensive for their other stuff though.

Thursday boots are the most comfortable in my opinion. They broke in withing like 2 uses. I have the arizona adobe color (similar to OP pic) captain style. Might pick up another color too like black.

I'd go with thursdays boyo. Can't go wrong.

Good choice OP. I went through the same process reading reviews, watching videos, going through all types of boots. Went with thursday boots and couldn't be happier. Every time I wear them people comment on them too.

Don't forget the buy a brush, extra laces and some conditioner and oil for proper leather care. Shoe trees too.
