Without getting into the problem of whether the universe is infinite, and what conclusions could even be drawn from this anyway....

If we are talking about this universe, which at least seems to have standard physical laws...ask yourself, is there anything impossible in Star Wars? If there is, then it didn’t happen. For example, the Force and levitation of objects telepathically. Or whatever hyperspace is, or sounds in space, laser beams that move oddly slow, how lightsabers work, etc.Ifany of this is impossible given the laws of physics....then it would be a pretty safe bet to say Star Wars didn’t happen...anywhere.

You can roll a usual fair 6-sided die an infinite number of times (well you can’t, and I’m not sure what this would even mean, but as a rough hypothetical).....this doesn’t mean you will eventually roll a 9.

You might roll a 9 if all the particles of the dice just happen to attain an arrangement that makes it look like a 9 on the side somehow.

That's not how infinity works. There could be infinitely many planets and galaxies and still not a Star Wars one. Infinity minus one, or even minus miscers' whore mothers, is still infinity.

I've not really been able to wrap my head around the infinite universal dimension theory.

If something is possible, that means it 100% exists in another dimension or reality? Like Wincel is a 10/10 billionaire super chad slaying harems of supermodels every night? Really?

The thought experiment is kind of a rough one anyway, but to skirt possible issues, replace it with: will you ever roll a gorilla? Or will you ever roll a face that has grahams number times the area of the largest face (area-wise) present at the beginning? Or some other (for all intents) impossible thing.

That's actually how some vaguely science fictional comics writers interpret quantum mechanics when they explain Scarlet Witch's powers. "It's extremely unlikely that six-sided die roll a gorilla, but since infinite possibilities exist, and Wanda Maximoff's magic works at the quantum level, she can make that outcome certain!"

Similarly, comics writers in the 60's read that transistors were super powerful, so transistors were why the Iron Man suit was so powerful.

You could roll a gorilla. Hmm...Graham's number times the area of the largest face is a bit much...lol, I suppose it is possible in principle assuming the universe is truly infinite...you'd have no way to observe such an area though to really know it actually happened. I think you'd be more likely to observe vacuum decay before that LMAO. Even rolling a gorilla is pretty lucky.

That isn't how it works, and infinity isn't real.
You can look out your window for an infinite number of years, you will never see a pink, talking hippo with wings playing hop scotch with a grey alien.

Yea the difficult bit is always the part about getting those pesky quantum states to be defined in the way you want them to be. Turns out it's random. Feelsbadman.

I see you can’t respond, but honestly wondering how someone could possibly roll a gorilla with a fair 6 sided die. I mean the sequence would be something like...

6,5,2,2,3,6,1,gorilla,4,1,5?

lol....damn

it started as a finite point and expanded. it continues to expand. they have also determined the shape of the universe, dont have a source ready. the multiverse however, probably is infinite.

Most physicists will tell you it is unknown whether the universe is infinite or finite. Keep in mind this is different than the observable universe, which is finite. In fact some just take the whole universe to be infinite as a working assumption so pesky issues with boundaries, shape, and the cosmological principle can be avoided. No one really knows for certain.

we probably have the most boring existence ever imaginable and are probably the only intelligent life forms in the universe lol. i think by now we would have had some intelligent intergalactic aliens come visit our solar system or something
