What are you up to on this beautiful day misc?

Woke up at 5 had a few cups of coffee and read a few chapters of crime and punishment. Probably gonna hit up the skatepark with a buddy later and go fishing after. Then I’m planning to chill with some friends and drink some brews at a hot tub tonight.

Hbu guys?

One bang in and about to go get a coffee. Had to work at 5am but it's been slow so I've been going around on google streetview just wondering when I'll be able to travel to Europe/Asia again.

Playing Yakuza 3 cuurrently, Going to go for a light run later (In recovery from an injury). Agonising over whether to pay scalpers price for an art print that I know I will likely never get this ‘cheap’ again. Probably have a glass of wine whilst I make another attempt at my Wasjog puzzle later on. Maybe barter with my husband for some nookie if he gives me back a tickle. Lmao

Should be a good day.

Work for an airline. I was going to a new country every 2-3 months prior to covid. Change of pace now that's for sure.

It all depends on what you're looking for. Some of my favorites are Switzerland (better be on that CEO salary if you travel there), Japan (culture, food, plenty to see), Taipei (similar to Japan with even better food and night markets), Vienna (architecture), Prague (cheap beer, kind of like a less douchey Paris). Really depends on you though.

Not on that CEO time yet lol, looking to spend 2-5k for a couple weeks. Vienna/Prague/Brussels have always interested me. Not sure how much the language barrier would affect the experience. I assume many people speak English though.

Also my family is Finnish so I would like to visit Helsinki or any other good cities to visit there. Not sure how affordable it is there though.

It’s a David Buckley disney art print.... based on Splash Mountain which is going to be gutted and turned into a Princess and the Frog themed ride because of the racism row.

It was my favourite ride so I am devastated that it is being changed. The print should usually be $40.... but now that Splash Mountain is going and Disney is not doing any more merchandise in relation to it, There are only a few listed on ebay etc currently, cheapest is about $100 (including shipping), then $160 then $700... So I feel the pressure to grab the cheapest one now.... but we are saving for a house so I feel guilty about spending money on something so unnecessary when our budget is so tight currently.

Nookie is sex lol.

Ouch.... hope you feel better soon! I can imagine a broken rib is pretty painful.

Plenty of English in Vienna and Prague especially during the busier tourist months. You could easily train or bus between Vienna, Prague, and Budapest. Buses were like $20 and very comfortable with wifi, charging, seatback entertainment, etc. I think I paid $4 between Vienna and Bratislava and it was another $15 or so to Budapest. Haven't looked at prices recently though. Hotels were very reasonable but I did go during a slower time.

That’s pretty cool! If you want it I say treat yourself, if you can afford it ofc.

I grew up in Florida so I’ve been to Disney world like 10+ times lol. Good memories. Have you been to universal Orlando? I’ve been to both universal in Cali and Florida and Disneyland/Disney world in Cali/Florida. Crazy how different they are.

How is splash mountain racist? Wtf I haven’t heard of that.

And thanks yeah it is painful! But starting to feel better.

Watched Midsommar last night so not sure i want to watch another movie tonight. How far are you in C&P and have you read any other works of his? I got an ebook on iphone but it's so fukkin massive i think reading on my phone would be a pain.

Sounds like a good morning bro. Pancakes look great. I’ve heard good things about midsommar, is it on Netflix/Hulu?

I’m about a third of the way through. Great book so far. It’s from 1958 so I have to be very careful reading it lol, it was 75 cents back then! And the only other work of his I’ve read is The house of the dead.

And yeah I don’t prefer reading on screens, especially a phone. Unless I’m miscing ofc

Woke up early and had coffee in the greenhouse while it rained and let the chickens roam the backyard. Then went downtown to play volleyball, but got rained out after one game. Cooking a steak stir fry now and re watching UFC from last night. Grilling up fresh mangrove snapper and lookdowns from yesterdays spearfishing outing. Life is good homies reps all around.

Trying to figure out how I'm going to set up a new deer feeder. It's on a tripod with a ladder to climb to the top to fill it. About 10 feet from the bottom to the top. Holds 600 lbs of corn. Weighs about 150 lbs. It's laying on its side after assembly.

That pancake maker is a beast. It's non-stick so you don't even need oil or anything.

Midsommar is great. Kind of a weird movie and not at all what I was expecting, but it's very creepy and unsettling. It starts off as a slow burn but it really holds your attention despite being nearly 3 hours. I'm not sure it's on Netflix since I haven't used mine lately but you can find it online.

I've been meaning to read it but the length is just daunting. I'll get to it eventually. Obviously it's a classic and everyone I know who's read it agrees.
