it really does mean it takes hardly no talent to make that type of music. There is a reason 99% of joke songs are rap. Always the attempt to go viral with a goofy song is a rap song
I'm talking about stuff like this
this sounds better than most rap songs and it was made as a goof.

OP is right imo. Rap doesn’t take a lot of talent to sound good, but some talented musicians do rap music and it shows through their music.
Rap is also (or was, at least) about writing, and the bars in some rap songs are definitely a lot more difficult compared to most other type of music, in my opinion.

Real Madrid, Miami Heat, New York Jets.

His voice sounds corny.
If you have a corny sounding voice forget about it.
Eminem was only successful because he parodied white people, and having Dr. Dre backing him.
Other than that and probably a few other things it's definitely easily accessible.
Also would like to point out if it's so easy then make a viral rap song.
You'll realize just to get to the point of making a song that doesn't sound like **** isn't exactly easy.
It's easy in the context of making a rap song vs making songs in another genre.
If you're going from a person who knows nothing about making music to trying to make a rap song that doesn't sound like **** you're in for a minimum of about 4-5 years of learning (and that's going low)
That's if you're making the beat, recording yourself, mixing the song, etc.

The videos ITT are of people who've been likely listening to rap their whole lives, and so for them it isn't hard.
It's like saying shooting a free throw is easy, yeah if you're athletic and have experience playing basketball it's easy.
The average person with no exposure to athletics couldn't hit 1/20 free throws, that's not "good" at all.

Its the same for other genres though.
Look at how many unknown people can shred on guitar that will never be famous.
Look at how many unknown people can sing way better that most pop stars.
Its part luck and part having the right "look" that the industry is looking for.

yea but those guitar shredders still spent years developing their skills
some people just have natural singing talent that cant be matched even with endless practice

anyone can rhyme over a beat with zero talent or practiced skill.

You are clueless. I have played shred guitar for 30 years. Rapping is much harder. You have to basically invent all the practice material yourself. You have to get over your dumb idea also when starting out that great rappers don't practice and just automatically knew how to do all this. If you don't, you just quit after the first time you hear your wack rhymes played back.
Anyone can make ****ty art regardless of the medium. That is exactly what makes great art so amazing.
