Misc Skate Crew Check In!
Started going a bit out of my way to a different park 1-2× a week, well worth the drive in comparison to the garbage park 2 miles from my house. Here's a some clips from my last few sessions.
Yeah, I know, I'm still fat. IDGAF. I know a few people here can appreciate this stuff.

Was actually looking into buying a skateboard lately. I used to skate as a teenager, but I was fat and out of shape. I still have my old board but my buddy snapped it in half last year. It was from 2003.
I'm just worried about injuring myself in my old age and losing gains from not being able to train. Bodybuilding is the priority right now.

Went out today in honor of this thread after being off the board for a few weeks... Have to learn how to ollie again. Amazing how quickly that has gone away, even after having pretty much just grasped the concept
Fuk it though, I'm still going to learn how to be decent at this eventually

It's like my mind remembers how my body SHOULD move, but then when I attempt I just spazz out and go stiff and phuck up lol. I'm hoping to pick skating back up this winter assuming the skate park is open and not closed off like some of the other public parks I've seen around here...

It's definitely a weird "when you're doing it right, it feels like it is wrong" kind of thing. I always turn to step off the board and land on both feet out of habit but when I can remind myself not to do that it goes okay

Mirin'.
I'd like to get more into skating once I graduate. I've only just dikked around in parking lots infrequently. Would love to do it more regularly, get some basic tricks down, and mess around a skatepark.

Skaters are the teenage equivalent of fat white guys who ride Harley's. They think they are counter culture and super cool but nobody cares and are generally annoyed by their existence.

Everything was cool back then. Miss those days

Ever stop to think that maybe just maybe its fun and enjoyable to some people and there are no anterior motives?
