i bet in reality some spec ops krews are better at certain operations and worse at others

I just wanted to drop some military history here: the SAS has the longest operational history out of all spec ops groups in the world. They have been operating since WW2. Many of the current top-tier spec ops groups have been influenced by them-DELTA FORCE and possibly DEVGRU included.


Look, in reality every spec ops unit is different, so arguing which one is "best" is difficult. However, the SAS is the CLOSEST to deserving that title. No one else has done what they've done-for as long as they've done.

Good wind-up material because the Yanks are pretty sensitive on this topic. I'd guess all the best-of-the-best forces from developed nations with military experience are roughly equivalent but with different specialities. SAS certainly has the longest history though.
