i love it. it's pretty much a guilt free food. high protein, low calories, light, exotic, and delicious. it's an acquired taste tho. i'd be eating that poolside right now with some skinny margaritas if i was you. try it!

Actually didn’t post it to any social media, srs. Just when I was laid there reading the misc this morning, literally every thread was about something intended to incite arguments, whether it was some form of race baiting, the riots, Trump etc, depressing af. OP I wish i could be able to go to Greece for the summer. I've always wanted to go to Santorini since the scenery and everything else there is epic. I had no clue that mykonos was in greece.

Id love to go vacation abroad to Greece and ***** as well as IBIZA before I die.

Yeh this my first time here, always heard good things of Mykonos and it was dirt cheap to come here.

I did ***** in March, it’s fuking amazing brah, I’d fully recommend. Go to this place called Zero Gravity, all day pool party with some stunning views

You’re right bro. Tbf we’re both fairly confident, I’ve been chatting to random girls throughout today already. I’ve got us some single malt whisky called Monkey Shoulder for tonight. There’s a beach bar that runs until midnight about a 100 yards from out hotel, then going to make some reservations at some busier places for the following nights.

Right, bear with me, I’m starting to feel a bit fresh, been drinking all since last night.
The weather is perfect, 30C, blue skies.

The beaches?

The one outside my hotel (paradise beach), is decent, white and sandy, it’s nothing spectacular. Supposedly there’s better ones around the island.

The food?
Haven’t been able to try yet, only been here 7 hours.

The women?

There’s so hot little Greek senoritas, few British (I know Misc hates Brit girls), however this is an expensive destination, so we’ve got the posh/rich girls here.

The activities?
Again, not been here long enough, there’s a diving shop next to our hotel which we’re going to utilise.

Do people go there to club or sight see?
Mykonos is a party island, similar to Zante, Ibiza etc. Covid is killing that a little though, for example the beach club I'm at, you can’t stand at the bar, you have to be sat down, which limits mingling with random sloots

Are you by yourself?

No my bestfriend is here with me.

Do you like it?

Very much so, so far.


Is it cheap?

Nope not at all, just reserved a double bed at the island’s most popular beach bar for Friday, cost is €120. Also drinks/food seems to pretty expensive too.

No one gets free tickets. People from Boom have a presale where they can buy tickets for €160, I believe around 500 tickets each year. BUT they have guaranteed tickets for regular price if they weren't able to get some for 160.
The Tomorrowland "neighbours" as they are called are the towns next to Boom and they also have a presale, since I'm considered a TML neighbour I also get a chance to buy tickets during that presale. haven't had any tickets through the neighbours presale for 5 years now though since they are very limited. My tickets are "transferred" to next year, moving out in october unfortunately so wont be going on my bicycle next year lol. Was fun having friends over each year, after parties at my place etc

Ah right I got you. Still very jealous. I never had a problem getting them through global journey. It must have been a buzz living there and soaking up the atmosphere from your perspective. When we came through Boom on the coaches, I always love seeing all the TML flags hung out of all the windows and the residents stood outside waving us through.

What's most crazy is how I saw the festival grow, I remember in 2009 we were still able to buy tickets on the same day of the event in local shops. It really blew up around 2012.
I'm in the TML neighbours group on ******** and it's nice to see everyone posting pics right before the festival saying they are ready to welcome the people from all around the world. Unfortunately the domain closes like 5 weeks prior to the event which suks for parents with kids. Also a lot of those flags get stolen, even when people hang them out of their upstairs windows they still get taken somehow.

edit: also maybe a weird flex but I used to go to the gym with Mike from Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike lol, we share hometowns. he's a dik now though, like a huge dik. fuk that guy

That’s pretty chitty regarding the flag part, TML generally has a good reputation of being a friendly festival, but I suppose some people are always going to be dicks.

Yeh I don’t watch them whenever they’re on. 2014 they were good, since then they’ve been terrible. It’s a joke how they always get voted number 1 DJ’s, but I’m assuming you’ve heard of their underhand tactics?
