I think so too. There was such a good balance of social media, tv, and IRL interaction/recreation. We had phones and myspace but it didn't consume our lives to the extent that they do now.

It is unfortunate to see where this world is headed and being unable to so anything about it.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

True

The internet was cool af and hadn't yet impacted society in a negative way. Way less division, way more optimism.

The 00s were decent too but it all really went to **** after 2012

It's true. Especially what OP said about going to chat rooms (yahoo, lol) and being stoked you're talking to a person in another country. So you'd be asking them what's life like in Sweden or Singapore and chit and asking what people do for fun and what ever.

Anyway, brb rap:

Brb pop:

Brb one hit wonders:

Brb rock:

Brb Brit pop:

Brb actual HBB pop stars:

Brb people going nuts for national anthems at sporting events:

Brb wrestling:

Brb football:

Brb iconic TV shows:

Brb games like Crazy Taxi in the arcade:

Brb Goldeneye at home:

The only place the 90s falls down is fashion. Everything else was GOAT.

I remember when I first experienced the internet.

I was over at a friends house, we were like 13-14 at the time. The internet was so new and e didn't know anything about search engines and stuff like that.

Being the scheister that I am, I am thinking to myself, "Where can we see nudes?"

So I type in p*ssy.com.

My friend freaked thinking his parents would catch us.
