At this point, the only way Portland can learn from its mistakes is by facing the consequence of their actions. It sucks for the good people of Portland but there's no other way since the leadership and their supporters are so hell bent on their views that there is no reasoning with them.

I am working right next to downtown full time and go out frequently, the city is hardly on fire or at war.

Also vacationed down to Seattle about a month ago and it was the most peaceful seattle trip I have ever had, Alki beach was popping and Pikes place was peaceful and lively.

I work downtown and live right across the bridge and will agree in the daytime you won’t see any of this sh!t on the news, but I’d never come downtown at night time and find out.

Also, walked into china town a couple weeks ago and that’s like a third world country now. Tent cities on sidewalks, needles, smells like piss and chit. It’s always been bad, but gets worse every day.

It wouldn’t surprise me if 50% of companies who rent property downtown don’t ever come back
