I liked the part where you described it's quality, what you like about it, the leverages, how much you can belt squat.
Spoiler!

looks like a solid buy for an ever growing badass home gym

Mirin. I'll get a belt squat one day when I have more space for the home gym.

They're ferns. I have never noticed any particular bug issue with them and we've always had them.

Was that a birthday gift from you to yourself? I'm a fan of doing that, too.
Thanks for posting the video of your home setup - I may have missed it but what do you use for focused glute-ham work? I'm a big fan of the 45 degree hyper extension station but it doesn't seem to be a good multi tasker - often ignored in most gyms I have been in and tucked away.
I'd love to try a reverse hyper (seen Louie Simmons implementing those) but I have never been in a gym that had one.

We do back raises where we focus on pulling from the hamstrings. We do some good mornings. And we do RDL's, usually not with a bunch of weight, but with a kettlebell and getting a good stretch in the hamstrings. Box squats, too.

It’s like people who get in the hack squat machine backward. Is that wrong? Technically yes, but sometimes people have reasons for what they’re doing.

A belt squat should be deeper than a barbell squat if you want to correctly lengthen and contract the target muscles
