seeing how balding is likely to occur after the re-productive years - none, evolutionary speaking. it is however a result of testosterone which of course has many evolutionary advantages. so its a side effect of something beneficial.

I have always wondered about this, I'm bald myself, completely bald, I know the cause, but what is the purpose? My theory is to become somewhat ''intimidating'' to some women, I've noticed how some women seem ''intimidated'' by me when I'm not wearing a hat

It's not related to how "alpha" or high test you are, you are just being delusional trying to explain your baldness.

It's a genetic defect which your hair follicles are weak to DHT and grows thinner as time goes until you go bald.

That is why finasteride works because it destroy your DHT and your follices are not exposed to it anymore.

It simply means the hair follicles on the top of your head have a genetic sensitivity to DHT. You can have low as fk T and DHT conversion but still bald if you have the gene.

Has nothing to do with evolution, Androgenetic Alopecia is a genetic defect in both sex.

Your hairline naturally recedes with physical maturity but many people will live to 100 with a full head of hair, it's not normal to go bald.
