Seinfeld vs curb your enthusiasm?

Which do you like better and why?

I’ve seen all the Seinfeld episodes, but I’ve only seen a couple curb your enthusiasm episodes.

From what I’ve seen I’ll side with Seinfeld as the GOAT sitcom of all time

I feel the same, and Curb is a very different show.

There's some witty jokes for sure, but it's a more depressing ( ie Always Sunny in Phil) and not nearly as ground breaking.

It's no contest IMO, but then again ppl think Big bang theory is funny. that show is straight trash, even w/ 2 HBB on it
Just trying hard to not be a fat sack-o-chit.

I've seen every Seinfeld episode, although it was a little before my time. Curb Your Enthusiasm is definitely better IMO. But it's also a style I like better as well(and can be uncensored) so that helps.

Curb Your Enthusiasm and it isn't even close.

It was the best parts of Seinfeld(Larry David's writing) made into its own show.

I have watched all of Curb. Seinfeld I've seen dozens of episodes but never sat through start to finish.

Seinfeld feels dated in some aspects (mostly just the laugh track, really.) Curb seems more timeless. But Seinfeld was massive, one of the biggest shows of all-time, whereas Curb is a more niche show, comparatively. Technically Curb is the better show since Seinfeld exists in the Curb universe, so it encompasses both.

when curb episodes are good.. they are really good
but they have less good episodes than seinfeld overall

both hilarious but I dont think I can watch seinfeld anymore. too outdated.

Curb is hilarious. Seinfeld, while an awesome show, just doesn't match the level of humor in Curb imo.

I dunno, at the beginning of Curb there would be some episodes better than others, but this most recent season they were all like 9/10+ funny. And I'd imagine with the whacky things going on in 2020, he will have enough material for at least 2-3 more great seasons.

They're both classic TV shows. You can't really compare them because one show is scripted and the other is more improv.

The newest season of Curb was another level though.

Seinfeld for sure..seen most episodes of curb. Seinfeld is just better...the characters are much better, its not just the content or the plot but the mannerisms and how the characters react. Much better show.

Curb is like the basic level of seinfeld.

The episodes are much better overall. Ive been binging curb and it seems repetitive...but i think thats from the seasonal story arch format it uses.

Yeah I agree. The characters are amazing on seinfeld. Kramer and George made me laugh so many times lol.

Will watch more curb soon and assess my opinion

Seinfeld and it's not even close. They were both cringey, but Seinfeld was funny a lot of the time. Curb is cringey 100% of the time, essentially unwatchable for me. It's very clever and I can see why people like it, but the cringe is too damn much....

I agree, I like the subtle sense of humor compared to it shoved in your face in curb. But like I said I’ve seen maybe 2 episodes

Curb is WAY BETTER. The episode where he and Leon switch their phone is absolutely the funniest thing I've ever seen on TV.

both GOAT shows. i love both but Curb's last 2 seasons were unwatchable for me. they weren't as funny and seem forced. Larry should have ended it 2 seasons ago IMO.
