what is your dream life 20 years from now?

want to be retired w wife, some dogs, cats, sheep, maybe some other things maybe like hour from a bigish city with a lot of land. pretty much like ellie and dina house in tlou2 except not as chitty. i also hope to have 100k+ reps

I want to spend my summers boating, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving in Florida. My winters snow-skiing and hunting in the mountains of a Northern state. In between seasons hiking, fishing, mountain biking,camping, motorcycle riding and dirt-bikes on off-road trails.


I'm most likely going to buy a nice full sized RV and primarily live in camp-grounds/national parks. Plan to tow a large cargo trailer that I'll keep a Jeep, Motorcycle + Dirt bikes, Kayaks, and fishing/hunting equipment in.


My family is mostly in Louisiana so if the ones I care about are still alive I'll have a 'home base' here. And I'll spend holidays/off time here. If everyone I care about dies. I'll likely be looking for a conservative state with good hunting/fishing, laws, and taxes. Tennessee might fit the bill and is centrally located. Or I might check out Idaho or Utah.



Ideally I'll have a fit/active wife that wants a similar lifestyle. Literally all of my focus is on remaining healthy, fit, youthful and investing wisely so I can make that life-style happen. On track to hit it for 54 years old.

Pretty close to you, OP. I'm working towards getting a farm myself. That's my ultimate goal.
