What do you think are the major contributors to honelessness and what are your recommendations to fix the homeless crisis in major cities?

I like how all your answers are vague and non-specific. There's really no character/experience/wisdom behind any of your words but rather something a bored, attention seeking basement dweller would muster up.

Yes, I sleep in the car. I wake up between 7am and 10am--just depends on the day. I work when I need to. I save money and invest it. I usually spend my day reading and writing. I don't really watch t.v. I listen to a lot of music, too. My parents are alive. I don't have a relationship with either of them. That's a long story that I'm not going to get into. My homelessness has nothing to do with my parents. The state of being homeless isn't nearly as difficult as how society treats you. Even how you are treated by people of the church and so-called outreach organizations. Nobody really cares. Life is not precious. Hopefully one day soon, the dinosaurs will unearth themselves and take back what is rightfully theirs.

Homeless people don't have basements. They're homeless.

How often do you drink and smoke?
What did we get from the first Enlightenment period? Doesn't seem like much in retrospect. Art used to matter. It no longer does in the grand scheme of things. Yes, I'm pretty much done with society. I threw my hands in the air after six months of being homeless when I was still working full time and said fuk it and lived off of $5,000 I had saved from working during that time. And I just spent a lot of time reading and writing and learning about things I wanted to learn about. That job I had during that time ended badly and the CEO of the company still owes me like $1,500 bucks back pay which I will never see. I would like to live off the grid in a manner of speaking. Get a little tiny house by a lake or something and just fish. Time is relative. I don't really think about that. When my time is up my time is up. I don't worry about it. I don't smoke or do drugs. I have rarely had a drink since I have been homeless.

I am unsure. Maybe I never will. It's definitely changed me. I am much more stricken with grief for my fellow man than I ever had been before. It doesn't give me hope for the future of man after what I have endured. I will simply say this: people are really cruel and sadistic.

Food pantries have pretty much been the only respite. There are good people at the food pantries. I highly recommend everyone to volunteer some of their time to one in their area.

The county I live in is full of fake Christians...that is pretty much what I have surmised. I'm not sure where I'd move to though. I've had a lot of miserable jobs so I am much less stressed out as a homeless person than when I was working one of those miserable jobs and trying to live to whatever expectations society has of individuals in general.

Well, Reagan got rid of all of the mental hospitals in which he had bipartisan support because he was trying to shore up the budget and they kept on taking more and more money away from mental health issues. So, the fact that there aren't the kind of federal funds for mental illness is a huge issue in treating Americans with mental health issues. People who are mentally ill do not belong in prison generally speaking...and they definitely do not belong in the street wallowing in their own filth. We have less mental health beds in America in 2020 than we did in the mid 1800's. I truly believe that all of the 501c3 organizations who are purportedly "helping" end homelessness are just running a racket because I've seen it with my own eyes so nobody can really tell me any different. And money doesn't solve it because if it did, San Francisco wouldn't have any homeless people because they have SO much money that goes into it and the problem continues to get worse. In a nutshell, you have to take the money out of it and build mental hospitals and treatment facilities. The so-called outreach organizations are an enabling device and they don't really solve the core of the problem. Our gov't is run like absolute chit though so I have no hope for this ever coming to fruition. America is on the brink of collapse as it is with all of the Marxists and Commies running around.

Why not buy a one way ticket to So. California and be homeless in paradise? Great weather all year long. No winter. Lots of homeless bros to hang out with.
