I believe in God. I found God thru this journey. That's really been the best thing of it all. So, I am at peace with whatever happens because I have given myself to God. I don't know if I love myself. I don't feel loved. I have never been in love. When people who are supposed to love you the most aren't there for you when the chit hits the fan, that changes one's perspective on things. So, when man fails you (and he will), turn to God. If you want to be loved, maybe you have to be more lovable than what I am. Maybe I am not worthy of being loved.

hard to believe, especially from someone who posts on misc. But if it is what made you do it? How do you cope? Do you go to your parents for money just to keep on living like this? Do you move a lot or only stay in one place?

There was a sense of kinship among Americans after 9/11 happened. That lasted for a few years and then fizzled out. Now, everything is just chaos and anger and ugliness.

What exactly are they supposed to do? Because they’re Christians it’s their job to support you and ask nothing from you in exchange?

Get some mental help and get some peace. Saying “life is not precious” is the most pretentious thing ever considering we are on a planet where we are the only intelligent life for billions of miles. Your perspective is 100% rottsville right now.

Yeah well my opinion is very limited as well so I am probably projecting.

I remember seeing a hidden camera show where a 'homeless guy' (actor) in the US was offering passersby $20. Ironic turn of events because it is usually the homeless guyaskingfor money, not vice versa.

The reactions I found to be really strange, the passersby were really aggressive and took it as a personal affront that a homeless guy would offer THEM money, almost like he was a different species and beneath them. One guy tried to beat the **** out of him just for offering him money.

Anyway I think you should treat people the same regardless of whether they are above you or beneath you in society. A lot of people have been through circumstances that are beyond their control and have been treated like crap by society, and find themselves in unfortunate circumstances.

Yea I wouldn’t put much stock into anything on TV although we don’t realize that when we’re young. I’m sure they encounter chitty people no doubt. Hell, people will act like they’re superior at any level. That’s an individual problem though, not humanity. There’s also people who care deeply. I don’t know his situation, only what he’s said. It honestly saddens me to hear how jaded he is about humanity because he’s obviously experienced some truly chitty people.
