Forget Nikola - what bothers me is all these other companies who were stupid enough to sign deals / agreements with these guys. How amazingly dumb are the executives at GM, anheuser busch, etc. Nobody verifies they not only have the facilities / capabilities....but what about the tech know-how to develop this stuff? Put me in a room with their CTO and I'll tell you if it's a fraud in 15-20 minutes.

WTF......unfortuantely this is how the real world works, you don't get to be an executive at billion $ companies because you are smart. You get there by who you know.

This is why tech companies are crushing all of these legacy companies. Tech companies have faaaaaaar less nepotism, you can not work at one of the FAANG's unless you are top tier.

I read through the article and I don't understand the context. This has been the case for a long time now, everyone knew they essentially only ever made some trucks and were kind of more of a sales pitch or business plan for the other stuff and it was all conceptual.

So GM buying their "dream" or sales pitch is actually kind of a sign of them starting to make something happen, its essentially like any new business or endeavor raising capital for their ideas.

so yeah... its been known, GM knew exactly what it is and isn't and if they bought into it that means they are on their way more than anything. It was more of a scam until GM got involved. Now if anything its kind of an outdated criticism.

Stock is down like 40% in 2-3 days

Might be a little late on the sell there.

They are a fraudulent company for sure, but sometimes takes long time for everything to resolve and company to go to 0.
