99 year old dairy farm to shut down

RUTLAND TOWN, Vt. (WCAX) - A staple in Rutland County and across Vermont is closing. After 99 years, Thomas Dairy in Rutland Town will be ending production and shutting down their farm at the end of the month.

“It’s the end of an era," says Abbey Thomas, a fifth-generation co-owner of Thomas Dairy. She says it was a difficult decision, but the dairy industry has been challenging to keep up with, especially competing with organic and nut milks. “We’ve been trying to innovate over the last few decades and COVID really made us have to stop more abruptly than we would have liked to."

That's the worst because it's not like anyone can start a small dairy farm anymore. That market share now belongs to megacorp farms forever. 5 generations of business owners and now the next one will likely have to be wagecels.

How do you think a cashless society will form if you can't control currency and food?

Real meat and coin are becoming obsolete.

Have you guys not been looking into the war on food currently?

Outside forces are doing their best to shut down meat plants, dairy plants, destroy grain, etc.

There is a reason why this year alone Bill Gates, Oprah, and General Mills pumped $1.7 billion into fake meant aka the impossible meat (same as burger king impossible burger). They're trying to introduce sterilized fake meat because it is "cleaner" than natural meat, dairy, etc.

Look into it. That blast going off in Beirut? Destroyed 85% of the nations grain back up storage. Fire at Iran food processing warehouse around the same time. 6,000 cows go missing on shipment at sea the other week. Major livestock issue after hurricane Laura, meat plants requiring testing with most having 90%+ positive test rates despite no symptoms, fining meat packing plants, etc.

These arson attacks wrecking rural west coast and destroying farms, gardens, homes, communities.

I should make a thread on this and show you guys how much **** has happened this year to food, and especially meat and dairy.

THIS. There is a WAR BEING WAGED ON OUR FOOD SUPPLY, behind this COVID plandemic. And when I say "our" food supply, I mean food supplies in the UK, Europe, Lebanon....all over. Chit is about to get TOUGH, y'all. If you can, you might wanna invest in some long term, storable food.

If you live in a rural setting and know how to hunt, fish, and garden that's even better.

Exactly. Already stocked on meat and rice. Need some more meat before prices really get out of hand. Started garden and have 22 pots of stuff growing.

But really it's hard to think that there really is a war on food, but all signs point to it. It's probably one of the major issues we should be focusing on upcoming. But all you get is silence.

Yup. And the silence is BY DESIGN. There is a great video of an African-American congressman, who began asking that SNAKE Mnuchin about the danger to the American food supply. It was during one of those RIDICULOUS, softball "hearings" that Mnuchin has been attending.

They cut this poor senator's mic off, and cut his time short when he started asking about the food. But anyway-it's great that you are preparing. There is a website called "Farmer's cart".com , that sells meat at discount prices.

It might be a good idea to buy off of them and stock up while you can.

Will check that out. Thanks for the site. And I also found a fresh water spring 5 min from my house. Going to go there maybe tomorrow to check it out lol.

And you're right. Silence is by design. It's all apart of the plan of fabian socialism. Hit from all angles and try to demoralize the population.

Sadly I became allergic to fish as I got older. Same with avocados. But I have half a freezer full of meat. Was thinking about picking up more chicken now because I have mainly red meat and pork.

Will talk with coworker next week though about ideas. We live closer to rural areas and know a lot of people with connections so I might be getting in on the local farmers co-op and get some good prices. Will even help them out on weekends in exchange for food.
