Urine idiot OP.

Go ahead and rent for the next 25 years. We will compare to what you paid vs what you have to show for it.

anytime??? you think ppl are buying right now? lol ppl commonly get stuck with their house on the market for months to even year+ and lose a lot of potential profit cuz of that. brb make 20k profit on yer house that you had for 5 years.... but thats just comparing buy to sell rates. not adding in the money you put into the home.

Where can you rent a house for 1/3rd what it would be on a even 15yr let alone a 30yr?

I'm talking about you are renting the whole house, not living with roomates, or just renting out a room because in that case, I could rent out rooms of my house, or even the whole downstairs floor for profit.

hell no in HOA its even stricter. like at least once every 2 weeks. outside your grass can get bout 1-2 foot high then your gonna have trouble. neighbours complain cuz yoru house/property looks liek chit and attracts bugs so homes around devalue. Over where i live they are actually starting a program where the gubmit will come and cut your grass for you if it gets too high then fine you for it JUST LOL.

$500 rent with utilities.... Bwhahahaha your renting somebody’s room!

Home rentals are about the same or more than a mortgage for the same home where I live. You can pay the bank and eventually own it or you can pay me for my rental while I pay the bank to eventually own it in my name ;-)

So what exactly is the alternative?

Rent a place, have all the same bills (maybe more) but no equity at the end?

Cool bro, you sound super smart.

30 year fixed is $1575 for me/mo. big ass house. Current market rate to rent this house is ~$2200.

Granted i don't have PMI anymore (haven't from day one). That'd add about $200 more/mo to the mortgage. do the math. it's still cheaper to mortgage cel AND get equity.

want to move? sell it and enjoy all the market growth since. or have a property management company rent it out while rentcels pay it off for you

This. And lol at doing anything with any privacy. You can't build anything, don't have your own garage to do what you want, no yard to do what you want, grow a garden, buid chit, etc. Have fun dealing with HOA and neighbors a cough away.

But But But property tax and things breaking down! Yea you're renting something that pays all of that, plus more to make money for your landlord while you have nothing to show for it.

Grow some roots man. People always forget all the perks of having a house and not listening to anyone.

Leasing vs buying

Both have pros and cons

Some like knowing they can leave and get a new place without maintaining the house and being tied to mortgage

There’s a reason some extremely wealthy people rent mansions for ridiculous monthly payments

500? Poorcel detected.

To rent a home in my neighborhood it is around 5k a month for a average sized house and they expect you to pay a full year in advance with a 2 year minimum lease.

Can't spell nickel or mortgage.

I'd tell you to pick one, but you probably can't count that high.
