Israel "shutting down" for 3 weeks

Facing a spike of 4,000 daily new coronavirus infections, the government of Israel voted Sunday to implement a national lockdown for three weeks to contain the spread—a decision that was opposed by a number of cabinet members.

The lockdown will begin on Friday and include the Jewish New Year. Israel is reported to be the first country to impose such a measure on a national level.

"There are detailed regulations that the government will approve in the next two days," Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a briefing after the vote, as reported by The Jerusalem Post. "I know these steps will take a heavy toll, that this is not the holiday we are used to, and that we will certainly not be able to celebrate with the whole family." Netanyahu has been previously criticized for his response to the pandemic, including reopening the economy too quickly.

The measures during the lockdown include: not having more than 10 people congregating indoors, while groups of 20 are permitted outside; schools and shopping centers will be closed; citizens cannot go beyond 500 meters from home except for traveling to work; and non-governmental businesses and offices can remain open but not take in patrons.

Pretty sure they're the first country to do any kind of second nationwide lockdown, everywhere else is just doing localized lockdowns, so it's definitely significant

The gentleman in this video claims that Israel is locking down....so that the Rabbis there can hold conferences withtheirMessiah. Apparently, the Talmudic/Kabbalistic Messiah is already here on Earth, and.....the Jewish rabbis are preparing to meet with him in secret.


So that is interesting. We will have to wait and see.

Chit, I dunno, man! As far as I know, the appearance of their Messiah is a BIG DEAL for the Jews. There will be ALOT of rituals that this person will have to conduct. This person will also have to rebuild their temple, somehow. So, these Rabbis might just want to confer with this person, and maybe even rehearse some chit. That way when he is "revealed" to the rest of the world, everything will go according to plan.


Oh-and for the record, I believe that Jesus Christ is the true Messiah. The person that these folks in Israel are getting excited over, might be....someone else......
