Take it from a millennial, the last generation to grow up without 24 hour stores and constant internet access.

Chit is not good for you men.

You guys are in it in it. Born right into the technology age. Your lives are built around this chit in the worst ways.

I know it might seem like it sometimes, but none of this chit is real. Social media warps life itself into a constant "keeping up with the Jones'", except now the Jones' are everywhere all the time.

Stop comparing your life to some chit you see online. Stop thinking you can't get a girl because you do badly on dating apps. Stop feeling a constant sense of dread because you stay plugged in. Stop thinking you failed because Timmy from high school got an MBA or Bobby is on a jet ski on ********.

Challenge yourself to see how long you can stay off instagram or mainstream news for as long as you can. Kinda like no fap for media. I promise you'll start feeling better.

If you've been hating 2020, unplug for a bit and reset your brain. Life is still awesome boyos.

Just think there are entire teams at companies like ******** and Google paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for the sole purpose to get you to spend another 30 seconds on the social media app of choice (SnapChat, ********, Instagram, Youtube, TikTok, etc.)


Do you know how everyone today looks back and thinks "how did our grandparents not know cigarettes were bad for you - it's so obvious!". That will be future generations and social media.

My kids do not even know how to Facetime, play Minecraft or even know what Tik Tok is. They are 9 & 7. My daughter can fish, wrestle and skateboard. My son loves Ninja Warrior and Legos.

No phones for them until they are 14. This lockdown has been a blessing in disguise as there were kids on their bus looking at inappropriate stuff on the bus.

I don't think parents take the internet seriously enough. It may not seem like chit to us, but their little brains aren't prepared for that chit. People our age are addicted and we used to live without it. Imagine how the wee babes are gonna be when they have the newest iphone at 5 years old.

I used to get in my feelings after striking out, but instead now I go out and I get smiles and laughs all the time from girls. It's made me so much more confident I don't even really try to talk to women on social media anymore. Don't devalue yourselves fella's.
