Anyone run an ebay store? Any tips for reps?

Started off with selling off some items I had stashed away I wasn't using (higher end nike .sb's and jordans mainly) Went to the thrift store for the first time today and bought some items I felt like I could flip and make a descent profit. I can definately say I had a good time picking items and if I can manage to make some extra cash then why not?

Will do. I sold a pair of nike sb's for $230 in a matter of hours the other day srs. That was exciting. I guess it helps that im a former sneakerhead so I have a descent idea of value. Bought a few more pairs of shoes on ebay that were improperly listed and advertised and immediately listed then for double the price I paid. I low risk purchase since I am simply using money I made on previous sales.

Document everything, especially returns. Video tape yourself opening boxes, because somebody might say they sent back your sneakers and mail you a box of rocks with a tracking number.

Do you recommend I offer returns when I list? Ive offered returns on certain items so they seem more attractive but i recently switched to no returns. Or will ebay overrule if a buyer is not happy with the purchase?

If they sold quick they might have been underpriced srs . Sneaker values are not the same as they used to be, especially for rare stuff.

Also I hope you listed them under athletic shoes to get 0% eBay fees.

Do you mean values have gone up or down or what did you mean? And yes all sneakers have been listed under that catergory so far
