Are you implying that the Joe Rogan podcast is somehow “dumber” than the shows presidential candidates have been appearing on for decades?

Joe Rogan has people on for 3+ hours where he asks unscripted questions and allows his guests to articulate their answers and ideas as much as they want.

How is that “dumber” than the candidates going on a TV show where they have 5 minutes to yell over each other before cutting to commercials? Or the usual debates where Biden will be allowed to read the questions beforehand just like Hillary did?

Long form discussions are replacing those stupid ass political TV shows and they absolutely should. The issues dealt with in politics cannot be explained and discussed in 5 minute segments.

Expect to see presidential candidates appearing on podcasts from now on. It wouldn’t make sense not to.

If they did this for a FIRST debate, the viewership would be absolutely insane. Fourth, though? Eh. The only thing I remember about that last debate between Trump and Hillary is that both of them were acting like they would have rather been anywhere else on the planet by that point. Was kind of boring. I'd still watch the chit out of this.

I don't understand what makes Joe Rogan any less "credible" as a moderator than Anderson Cooper or Chris Wallace, though. The main reason his podcast is so successful is because he's excellent at starting and steering interesting conversations. He even got me to watch that whole Miley Cyrus interview.

I'd much rather see a 2 hour show with Trump and another 2 hour show with Biden, rather than them together trying to outdo each other. His shows with Tulsi, Bernie, and Yang we all great. Regardless of what Biden does, Trump should do it anyways.
