These more extreme outcomes are seen most often in competitive athletes. That’s why cardiologists have been urging caution about the return of sports mid-pandemic. Just last month, former Florida State basketball player Michael Ojo died of apparent heart complications while playing in a pro league in Serbia, shortly after the 27-year-old had recovered from Covid-19.

To prevent the pandemic from leading to similarly tragic heart injuries among student athletes, doctors at Ohio State University developed a new protocol, says Saurabh Rajpal, a cardiologist and assistant professor of internal medicine at OSU. The protocol requires any player diagnosed with Covid-19 to receive a clinical examination, blood test, electrocardiogram, and MRI—a costly and sparingly used imaging technology—before returning to play. Between June and August, 26 men and women from the school’s football, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and track teams showed up to be screened after having recovered from Covid-19. MRIs turned up inflammation of the heart muscle—a sign of myocarditis—in four of them. Of those, two had never experienced any symptoms of Covid-19. The case series was reported Friday in the journal JAMA Cardiology.

Saw an article a few months back that said commercial gyms are dead because of the health risks due to close proximity and shared equipment. It’s like they want to emasculate the population. I say, fuk em.

Theyve only had covid samples outside of china for like 8-9 months.

heart disease takes years to develop.

also how many people have the looked at that were confirmed completely healthy to compare to after corona and confirm that they now have heart disease which they got in a matter of weeks or months. right. complete BS

No turning back now. Might as well push all your chips in, right???
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

It causes myocarditis in some people which you're not supposed to do any any strenuous exercise while recovering from because of the inflammation. The headline was stupid for calling it heart disease but that was pretty much the only thing wrong. It looks like they already changed it.

So can many other common viral infections
Exercising with flu also puts one at risk of suffering from viral myocarditis* – where the flu virus invades the heart muscle and causes significant and irreversible damage.Dec 22, 2008

Although research indicates that upper respiratory illness infections are surprisingly reluctant transmitters, upper respiratory illness transmission may escalate during winter sports seasons. Yesterday:
Corona virus is harmless
Mask are worthless
Corona virus will last on the surface for 19 days
Asymptomatic individuals are the super spreaders

Today:
Corona virus will kill us by the millions
Masks are essential
Corona virus will last on the surface for no time
Asymptomatic individuals dont pose a threat..

Today - Corona virus shows long lasting impacts on the heart...
Tomorrow - Corona virus shows no impact to the heart

LOL at listening to the medical experts..

Influenza, swine flu, sperm quality and infertility: A story

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2970791/
Infection is accepted as a possible underlying cause of male infertility. Some infections are confirmed for the negative effect on sperm quality, for example, genital tract infection.[1] In addition to bacteria, other pathogens can also affect semen quality and result in infertility as a consequence.[2] The roles of parasites and fungi in induction of infertility are confirmed.[2] The most well-known virus-induced infection leading to infertility is mumps.

I workout/lift through most illnesses and injuries. Tbh, the flu barely bothers me and I never get the flu shot. I doubt I’d even notice a difference if I had this illness. I understand it could be serious I guess, but I also believe human willpower can help in the healing process. Ie: you can try your best to fight through or succumb to getting sick. I think the later(not just covid) in anything makes you susceptible to getting hit harder

This is about myocardiatis. It can happen that your heart tissue gets a bit inflamed when your immune system is under attack, it's normal. But the good news is: it is 100% recoverable and will quickly recover after infection. When you have or just have had COVID, pay attention to your body and don't go HAM if you feel you're blacking out.
[...] myocarditis. That’s cardiologist-speak for what happens when the muscular walls of the heart become inflamed, weakening the organ and making it more difficult for it to pump blood. It’s not a newly discovered condition, and it turns up pretty rarely, but when it does, it’s most often triggered by an infection. Viruses, bacteria, even invading amoebas, yeasts, and worms have all been shown to cause it.
Strenuous activity while the heart is weakened can cause swelling in the legs, dizziness, shortness of breath, and—in serious cases—irregular heartbeat, cardiac arrest, and sudden death.
So far, it [cardiovascular damage] doesn’t seem like much of a priority. Maybe that’s because lots of other viruses can also cause myocarditis, speculates Topol. But the difference here—and what should be spurring more urgent study, he believes—is that most viruses don’t infect tens of millions of people in the span of six months.
At OSU, the [hospitalized ICU needing!!] athletes who showed signs of myocarditis on their MRIs have been put on a mandatory three-month rest. At the end of that, they’ll be rescanned to make sure the inflammation has subsided, and only then, says Rajpal, will they be cleared to play.

if you truly understand the testing methods, you will understand that this whole thing is fukin hoax

I remember there was a case study of someone getting sick on a plane, all of the other members of the plane soon expressed the same symptoms. Turns out the symtoms expressed by everyone but the original person were all psycho****ticly induced, due to their combined fear of flying and being confined in a closed space with a potential pathogen. basically what you are seeing with the TV telling everyone if you have x symptoms (which are the broadest range of symptoms ever lol).
