Happy friday...If COVID restrictions were lifted...

Happy friday brahs. The weather fell of quick didn't it? Hopefully we'll get some warmer weather, but fuk it doesn't look like it. Not doing much this weekend other than some projects around the house, and letting another man change my and my wife's oil. Whatever you guys do, be safe, have fun and kick a couple back for ya boy.

So...If COVID restrictions were lifted 100%. Bars, schools, restaurants, sporting events, concerts, etc, etc were allowed to run under old world regulations...What would be the first thing you did?

Same thing I'm going to do today,

Go to the bar with a group of friends, go see Tenet again at the movies, eat afterwards at a sushi restaurant, bar again or maybe go bowling

Happy Friday, blood bro!

My wife has been aching to go out to dinner. We'll probably do that this weekend, but it will have to be outside dining, which may be hard to find. We'll see. If there's time, I'd like to take her back to the gun range. She's finally interested in getting a gun, so we'll try a few and see what she likes.

So, the waves have been big on lake Michigan the past couple weeks. I can surf with my paddle board at our town's beach, you can't do it with a surfboard because the waves suck, even when they are big, and generally don't break until they are about to crash on shore. I posted some go-pro videos on my ******** hoping to find someone to go with and/or someone to give me better locations. I have friends at my beach who paddle board, but the best of that bunch went out with me the other day, and I wasn't comfortable with him being out there, and his board ended up slamming him in the head and I had to run and get control of his chit.

It worked, and one of my high school buddies sent me a location about 30 min from me where there is a break wall, and he's getting me in touch with another old high school buddy who still surfs lake Michigan. That dude was the first person who told me it was possible to surf Lake Michigan, and I never believed him back then, it was always a clandestine activity.

so I'm going there this afternoon, and even if covid restrictions were lifted, that is what I would do this afternoon anyway

Happy friday Bro...BRB 2 week reservations for some classic americana restaurant just because it has a patio. Chit's insane. You aren't at least a little worried about her sudden interest in gun ownership? RIPKappabrah

Nope. I'm in neither. We're open, but we have mask, capacity and distancing restrictions.

Happy Friday mane.

Weather has dropped off here too. Warm spells during the day but by like 6pm it’s no longer t-shirt weather.

Pubs are open here but it’s not the same as there’s restrictions. Can’t socialise at the bar/rule of 6 etc. Since it’s Friday I’ll still probably have one for me and one for you after work in an hour.

That's the whole thing...We can do all this stuff, but the atmosphere isn't the same. It's no buzz. No flavor. Make sure it's a good one bro...You can't be drinking pussy chit in my honor.

We were supposed to go to a concert in March, ended up being rescheduled for around now...assuming it was put off again. So I guess it would be that? Been back to most of my favorite restaurants, but haven't been able to chill at the bar w/my bro. That would be near the top of the list as well.

Gonna be 99 here today, then mid/upper 80s for a while. Mid October is when things cool down for us, so plenty of outdoor time for a while. Just have to make an effort to get out of the house!

Going to camp this weekend so will be kicking a lot of em back.

Would probably go to Texas Roadhouse without having to wait 2 hours to get in. I know, boring.

Or go to a Penn State football game if it were at home.

We were supposed to go to two concerts - The Rolling Stones and Hall and Oates. I think the Stones have been canceled until further notice (we get priority to repurchase our tickets) and H&O is scheduled for March (??). I'd like to see these people before they, or I, die.

I miss eating in restaurants and doing karaoke. You can do it here, but it still makes me nervous because my mom is high risk and lives with me.

The mental hurdle is the biggest. You're game to do it, but you're always thinking about the worst possible scenario.
