the gov needs to step in and set up some BLM signs, need to fake out the virus and make it think its a BLM rally and know not to spread infection. Could save a lot of lives that way

I went to my nan's house and put BLM and LBGTQ posters all over her walls and so far she is corona free.

I came up with another theory yday

What if the Chinese devised this plan that they release a virus into the world in the hope that all other economies are ruined and forced to start again at almost zero

That would ensure the number one superpower in the world (China) would be vast steps ahead of the next country reaching China’s level of wealth....


Bit like what is happening in UK and US, poor people are expendable and released from their 20,000 a year job whilst the billionaires receive more billions in bail out money.

The fact that the governments are even struggle to decide whether to cripple an entire generation in debt or to just tax their rich friends abit more

They're protesting the restrictions you absolute buffoon.

I can understand it. It's time now to get back to normal. If people die then so be it. A few old weak obese people we won't really miss. And they can still shield themselves if they wish. Even if it's one of my loved ones or myself that perishes so be it. The country (and world) can't just fúcking close down and print money for furlough/benefits because of a virus that kills 3% of those who it infects.

And yes, eventually you have to just go out and accept it as a reality. You can't lockdown a country for too long before it becomes unrepairable.

I was just going by the Worldinfo figures where 30m infected and 1m deaths. 1/30 die. That's 3.33%, no? But of the 30m, 22m have recovered, so 8m still infected. Some of those will die, so you're looking at about 1.2m deaths from 30m infections, which is more than 0.3%.
