When'd the misc get so full of trolls?

Maybe I'm getting old and grumpy, but fukkin A this place has me questioning half the posters here lately. It kinda sucks. Used to be a lot more genuine and confident. Now everyone is a troll. '08 brah here, I think I might sign off for good.

Supp section and Nutrition section used to be pretty neat. Alan Aragorn posting regularly, pretty sure Eric Helms used to post-lot of smart guys. Almost totally forgot that side. Ogus, Ice cream Fitness, Ian "Poptart" McCarthy.... damn.

Yep. And it all bled in to the misc.

Not to mention there was no r&p section, no sports section, it was all on the misc. Mega threads on positive subjects with debates therein.

Its always been my opinion if the sub sections were absorbed by the misc & neg trains were allowed for abusing the srs tag, things would start to speed up somewhat.

I mean I say better, lest we forget, "is my dick too small" threads were banned for a time because that was every thread once upon a time.

The trolls got really bad after KENKONG and BobbyD were gone, srs. Now you've got men posing as women with 10k+, you've got wincel alts and alts from a bunch of other banned people because they're exploiting the registration process. It's not going to go away. The trolls aren't even funny.

There was always weird chit going on, I remember when I finally registered on here I found out there was an actual rep trade thread. Some random posted the link to the secret thread which was hidden in the workout logs section and the same day teampunishment made a post in the thread that anyone who posted in there without being invited would be neg trained and possibly banned. Fukkin lol Can't say I miss that guy.

Honestly I'm surprised misc wasn't jacked more often for it's comedic gold. There was a time I would ditch 2 classes to chill in the library scrolling and refreshing. Before tabs, when every refresh the front page was new. Man, I can't even describe how off the wall funny this place was. We still had "facial aesthetics" threads and rudyrude, but damn you're right this place has had it's share of interesting discussions on random topics. I think it was misc where I got the idea to mine gold from computer electronics and old cell phones. Place has led me down so many paths.
