Sad. I liked his podcast. He kind of sold out before when first interviewed the Twitter ceo but he mostly redeemed himself in the subsequent interview.

I won't listen anymore if he doesn't straighten this out asap. Doubt he or spotify cares but oh well. I'm still waiting for him to say something about all the missing episodes on their platform.

Fuark man, I read The Coddling of the American Mind back in 2018 and Jonathan Haidt and Greg Lukianoff could not have nailed this more accurately.

Didn't he only apologize for claiming that someone was arrested or that someone purposely started the Oregon fire(s)?

And has anyone been arrested or does anyone have solid proof that someone actually did start the fires?

Give the guy some slack.

He genuinely wants the freedom to say whatever he wants to say but when you get paid over $100 million.....NFL players destroy their bodies and brains for that kind of money.

I’m sure he was thinking “Okay, they might censor me a little bit but not all that much.” Or at least he was really hoping for something like that.

Wait and see what happens before calling him a sellout because he’s still the closest thing we have for a huge platform that involves rational discussion that reaches millions of people.

Lol I dont know why this upsets everyone so much.

I like Joe Rogan. I like his show, I like his guests and I like the format. I dont agree with everything he says and I get irritated with how he flips on things sometimes, but for the most part he is a decent guy. You cannot speak to people for 15 hours a week and not put your foot in your mouth from time to time.

He is walking a tightrope though, where the world is going mad around him and almost everything you do or say is going to be offensive to someone. YouTube were probably going to censor him anyway at some point, and anyone who does not line up with the rabid left is going to be targeted. If not now, then in the future. He is on borrowed time, probably knows it and is cashing in while he can. I would be doing the same.

What ridiculous standard? I'd respect him a lot more if he was honest and said yeah I'm putting up with a lot of new **** for the money. He hasn't said that though, apparently only a lie about a glitch or something. Either way it goes directly against the way he's chosen to portray himself as an advocate of free speech.

He's come through before though. I hope he's fighting it out behind the scenes or something.

Also, when was Joe ever known for going after people (save for Carlos Mencia)?

He might not have even known it was going to happen and has been going nuts behind the scenes for all we know. No one knows what really went down or what he knew going in.

I dont think Rogan wants his show to be worse or to have to watch what he says either. Who would want that?
