I've been lurking the hingeapp subreddit (no viaduct) for a few weeks, and I've seen only bad things about HInge's boosts. They're supposed to be significantly worse compared to Tinder's boosts, whose effects allegedly can be felt for a few weeks (you get put into somebody's stack until they swipe past you rather than just being put in the stack for the brief time Hinge provides)>

Boosts etc suck, signing up a new account is the best experience by far.

I feel like my matches are better than before. Added a couple of good pics, could be that.

None of mine are professional but a couple kinda have that quality. Honestly I’d say it’s probably worth getting pro photos done.

Yeah I can attest to the Hinge boost being terrible. Literally did nothing when I used it and it costed like 6-7 bucks. Fuk that noise brahs save your money. Tinder boost works decently though, usually.

To your first point, I agree. Just going through the pics on Tinder and OKC a month or so ago, a lot of guys have really bad pics. The good ones definitely stand out in comparison. Also agree that sometimes it seems like you have to be a professional photographer.

May have still been sexual, but you did escalate quickly and make it more explicit while hers was subtle. She could also just be nuts. Apps are full of them.

From what I've seen from other guys, being sexual with your messages is completely hit or miss. It'll work for the ones who are looking to fuk right away, and it'll turn off most everyone else. Good way to get rid of "time wasters" as BlackScorpio would put it. I never got sexual in my messages since it's not something I'm into, so I don't really know.

It isn’t that subtle though to suggest more on the first date. It’s more innuendo for sure, but I made a probability call.

I don’t usually get sexual either because I don’t want to lose the more conservative women, right. I get that. But being a bit playful when I have the signals (plus like I said her pics were a bit provocative), isn’t terrible i think.

With an innuendo though, there's some plausible deniability so that she doesn't look like a sloot. If she responded to your message, it's basically admitting that she's down to fuk (even if she is down to fuk). Maybe something like, "There will definitely be more than avocados" would be better. Or maybe not. Been awhile since I sent flirty texts to strange females, so I'm out of it. And if she's going to be that sensitive over a message, she's likely a bit nutty. Would've been a headache if you actually met. Or it might not have mattered what you sent.

And most of the time I'm not sexual right off the bat with women that haven't initiated anything sexual yet as to me it's better to do that over the phone or in person after you gotten a good read on the body language and vibe of the woman (I'm not talking about slutty vibes either but anyone who's good at reading body language will know what I'm talking about) as something like that can be taken the wrong way through text.
