Owned and carried/carry a Glock 36 since 2011; if you need more than 6 .45 acp than you need to work on your aim or you pissed off way too many people. semi-srs.

Adventures in reloading:

"Loaded" about 30 cartridges. dutifully measured my first few to make sure powder was good. Was getting consistent powder and then the ****ery began with the case mouths being compressed by the case-activated powder drop. WTF? Dropped about a charge worth of powder before I realized what was happening. Get sorted go back to reloading and look at my powder cop and realize it's high. What? check charge and it's 2 grains high. No idea where in the process this happened. Now have to pull down and recharge ~30 cartridges. I almost feel like I need to do this step by step rather than progressively because there seems to be a new way for the system to **** up at every step.

I meant the G43x compared to either. I have both a 19 and a 43.

Also, I have a friend with a Dillon 650 and some accessories who offered me the whole
Kit for $500. I know the price is right but I’m not convinced I wanna sink in the money to get setup if I can’t find components. Thoughts?

Not to be that a-hole... but this is why I paid for the Dillon. I've had way too many friends run a Hornady as their first press, or as a cheap way to add a second press in a diff caliber. Eventually they figure it out, but it's always all kinds of fukcery.

Eventually you'll get it all tuned. Setting up a new caliber takes hours of low yield before it starts flowing.

Components will come back. People can't keep buying in this bulk forever. Powder also isn't moving nearly as fast, which means people are hoarding the primers, which definitely means it has a limit.

Projectiles and powder are still EZ PZ.

Mmm red dots. I’ve got another slide I want to send to PrimaryMachine. They make it easy since they will supply the RMR06s. I had relentless get me the 6.25 MOA dot last time for my G45 and I regret it. Too big. Doing the 3.5 or whatever it is dot this time.

The rifle is the new (at the time) .376 Steyr Scout.

Unfortunately, that was the last class Cooper lectured at due to his health.

I don't understand how Bass Pro can sell 9mm for 22 cpr but nobody else can. Guess it doesn't matter since it seems to sell out before it's even available.

same way Academy does. My assumption is long term contracts to purchase at a given price, and/or have already bought it and take shipments as it becomes available. They're not buying at today's prices.
Academy is probably on very slim margins for ammo, but it does get people in the store to buy other stuff.

Haven’t seen any 9mm in months at my local academy.

Miss the days when I could just go to wal mart and get a few hundred Winchester white box for a range trip. Chits weak brehs
