This is fairly accurate. Also, for some context breonnas ex-bf was a drug dealer who was already picked up earlier in that evening. BTs house was apparently used by the ex-bf to receive or store packages. The BF that BT was with was a licensed gun holder. So based on this information, there seems to be little reason to believe that there were any drugs in the house at that point. BT was not a dealer and had no criminal record.

Also, based on this, there seems to be little need to conduct this type of raid on a person who wasn't actively involved with drugs and was not the main person in the investigation/operation. BT had a regular job as a dispatcher...police could have easily waited until BT left for work.

The police seemed to have just blindly fired into the building..the person asleep ends up dead and the person who fired the gun is alive.

Cops fuarked up. Negligence charges for sure and they are damn lucky no one else got injured or killed. Based on the photos, bullets were flying all over the place...and in an apartment building SMH

Why are people so stupid?
Understanding this requires only the bare minimum amount of “being informed”.

People who are acting like a trial verdict is about to issued are beyond ignorant. And their opinions should be treated as such.

Former Louisville Metro Police Department Detective Brett Hankison has been charged with three counts of first-degree wanton endangerment by the grand jury in the fatal shooting of Breonna Taylor.

No other officer has been charged at this time.

Solid cliffs. I'm unaware of the law in this case of no knock warrants, plus another state, city and county from mine but aren't these officers almost immune here?

Yes they're the ones who carry it out, but if there is some sort of egregious error shouldn't the teams who investigate and whoever issues the warrant be held more accountable?

Maybe the lesson here is don't date a drug dealer.

You should read this article:https://www.courier-journal.com/stor...me/5593502002/

Some more FACTs:

She was actively involved(her ex stupidly admitted it on prison phone that she was the one handling his finances not knowing it was recorded)

She wasn't asleep(Walker confirmed it)

Police raided the right apartment(her name and address was on the warrant)

Her car was seen frequently at the main trap house which was under police surveillance, thus tying her to the operations

She posted bail for her ex and another notorious drug trafficker

She rented a car in her name, it was later found to be abandoned with a dead body inside

Glover used her car and address for his dealings

She still didn't deserve to die and no knock warrants are outdated(even though performed hundreds of times every day with no issues), but she wasn't the poor innocent EMT who was asleep that the media portrayed her to be.

This blows my mind.

Dating a drug dealer is a death sentence.

What is crazy about this is thatthe same people who think it is okay that the government killed her are the same ones that advocate gun rights to protect people from the government

Uh, I would think that kicking down someone's door at night would actually be the most dangerous way to go about this. There are tons of other ways that, while also dangerous, are much less dangerous than this. It's an apartment surrounded by other apartments, and you're kicking down a door and firing guns. That right there seems like something I would give a thumbs down to were I a member of that communities law enforcement.

This whole thing screams of terrible police work, terrible choice of actions, and all around terrible decision making. I should hope the people up the chain who approved this are held accountable.

Edit to add - and to be clear, I don't hold an officer who is following lawful orders accountable for firing back when fired upon. The officers' superiors never should have put them in this position.

I never said any of to was okay or that she deserved to die. Maybe stop being so emotional.

I will always be the first to point the part the victim played in their own demise, if there is one... and like I said, rarely is there not one in these situations.

Cause and effect, my friends. One thing cannot happen without the other.
