Cause and effect, my friends. One thing cannot happen without the other.

Also, if you own a gun, you also have to accept that using it may also get you killed, or someone you love killed.
Your statement about the “lesson being not to date a drug dealer” is nothing other than blatant justification.

That is you saying it is okay with different words.

Doubt it.

I bet most drug dealers are killed in car accidents or by heart disease.

No one is forcing the cops to pretend they are at war when they are not.

Get your facts straight, police enact/enforce policies established by politicians/voters.

Arrest rates have halved since decriminalization. There were about 15 million arrests annually in the 2000's, down to about 7.7 million arrests annually now purely from decriminalization and the scaling down of the "war" on drugs.

She wasn't asleep(Walker confirmed it)

Police raided the right apartment(her name and address was on the warrant)

Her car was seen frequently at the main trap house which was under police surveillance, thus tying her to the operations

She posted bail for her ex and another notorious drug trafficker

She rented a car in her name, it was later found to be abandoned with a dead body inside

Glover used her car and address for his dealings

She still didn't deserve to die and no knock warrants are outdated(even though performed hundreds of times every day with no issues), but she wasn't the poor innocent EMT who was asleep that the media portrayed her to be.
Interesting.
The link didnt work.

But I wonder if these incidents were very recent or during her time with the EX. Also, was she seen at the trap house or her vehicle? Seems likely that it was the ex BF using her vehicle.

At the end of the day, it seems like her exbf was the msot degenerate of the 3 people involved...Im curious as to see how he was apprehended.

The whole operation seems very unnecessary...and just an excuse for cops to play army.

Reminds me of a unrelated local incident that was filming for Live PD, the police chose to confront and arrest suspects in their home instead of apprehending them when they were in court.

The only injustice about this entire ordeal is that her family robbed taxpayers of 12 million dollars.

good cliffs

I agree she didn't deserve to die and that the police botched the execution of the warrant and does call into question no-knock warrants. But the officers did knock but apparently they didn't announce themselves?? I hear conflicting stories about this.

But she is being exalted as some sort of martyr or hero for the cause, where her tale should be more of a cautionary one, of the sorts of things that can happen when you knowing deal and aid people in criminal activity. The officers should absolutely be at fault here but I think the system and procedures that led to this are to blame. Much more important is that these sort of things are changed so a scenario like this doesn't pop up in the future.

I have’t said anything to contradict the impact of decriminalizing or ending the war on drugs. I’m on the same page with you.

You are arguing this point I don’t even disagree with.

It's not about "deserving." But if you are involved with drug dealing, armed drug dealers, and keep bodies in your trunk (wonder if that person deserved their death) there's a reasonable expectation that something like this could happen.

There's no reason to be destroying cities over people like Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. Plain and simple.

My apologies. Here's the actual link:https://www.courier-journal.com/stor...me/5593502002/

Keep in mind the newspaper was forced to retract this article because the mayor condemned its release as "insensitive", even Breonna's attorney pretty much confirmed that the facts in the article were true.

There's no reason to be destroying cities over people like Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. Plain and simple.
One criminal's family gets 12 million as a settlement, I assume lawyers took over half.
One criminal is painted all throughout the nation like a hero.

While George Washington is bad.

What will the next decade bring? It only will get more progressive. Whites will be minority at some point.
