I rented one of those last year and drove it to Clingman's Dome in Tennessee. Not the fastest car on the planet but it whipped through the mountain roads very well for a sedan

Not really chad or timothy, it's like the perfect middle ground commuter car for a respectable adult.
Wouldn't give you any grief for your purchase, Mazda has come far from 10 years ago in refinement, and as far as I've known and heard, never had any major reliability issues.

Congrats OP. It’s a good practical car at a fair price. You are mature beyond your years. A lot of guys would have bought an old clapped out Lexus or something that was on its last legs trying to perpetuate. Well done and repped

It’s fine. Stop being a bish asking other opinions. It’s your car. Buyer remorse is normal. It’ll last you till the tires fall off.

I always thought the 6 looked pretty good. Personally, I'd prefer a Honda or Toyota, but I have a few friends that swear by Mazda. As long as you're happy with it that's all that matters.
Congrats on the new purchase.

90k miles on my Mazda 6 2015. 0 issues outside the first 3 months of purchase when I got it brand new. Other than that, great car
I have mines with black rims, tint windows and get compliments a lot. Especially when I drove for Uber. Had dumb people think it was a bmw lol or a Lexus

the mazda is sensible and neutral. a good all around commuter car you cant really ask much more for its intended purpose

We got the wife a red 14 GT package late last year. Car has been solid, consistently returns 30mpg and is honestly fun to drive for what it is. I’ve heard great things about the reliability as well.
Enjoy your new ride boyo.

looks a bit sporty and aggressive. hows the ride? is the suspension smooth over bumps/potholes?
now put in a sub and yeah baby!

my mom has the 2017 mazda 6 I helped her pick it out. I really like it and at the time I liked it a lot better than the accord or camry of the same year.
You can retrofit android auto/apple carplay for this model, atleast in the US. Its two separate steps, one is replacing the USB port with a higher amp port, its like $150, then the second part is updating the infotainment firmware.

These new Mazda’s are extremely nice stable cars with decent horse power but ime it’s not a fun sporty drive. Mechanically from reading what others say about the interior and exterior design and feel everything seems to check out.
I personally genuinely really enjoyed the 19 Jetta gli but on the interior they pinched a few more pennies based on some of the plasticky parts and a few missing features. But way higher hp and torque than the 19 Mazda 3.
A personal contention I have with the newer Mazdas is that the front looks like the mouth of a duck but that’s just subjective taste. Recommended my folks to get the 19 Mazda 3. Solid boomer family vehicle.
