In 2016...and was an EMT for all of 5 months. I've taken shts that have lasted longer than her "career" as an EMT.

You guys are as bad as leftists when it comes to hearing facts that don't align with your feelings.

And again it's not just about violence.

It makes my blood boil whenever they step over the line.

Nice bait, guess you're used to utilizing outrage to elicit reciprocal passion from that wildebeast of a wife and your welfare kids, all of whom are clearly abused physically and mentally. We're lucky that they take the brunt of your abuse!

That happened in 2016, 4 years prior when she was dating Glover. Funny thing is when the police went and interviewed her Glover was there, and she gave them a phone number which Glover would use for drug dealings until Feb. 2020.

At the time of her death she was not working as an EMT but an emergency tech at a hospital.

Lol if you think cops don't enter without warrants.

That they don't try to make up exigent circumstances.

Yes at a minimum these so called small things happen between 1 and 7 days a week in every municipality in the country.

The fact is that police have not been very transparent when it comes to public oversight.

Here are the cliffs of the entire situation that I posted in another thread:

-Breonna Taylor is an EMT and dates Glover, a well known drug dealer with two trap houses
-In 2016 Breonna rents a car in her name, later it was found abandoned with a dead body inside, the brother of one of Glover's associates
-Police question her, Glover is there, and she said she let Glover borrow the car and didn't know who the victim was. She gives detectives her phone number, the same phone number that Glover would use for his drug dealings until Feb. 2020.
-As a result of her implication in that case, she gets fired from her EMT job
-They break up
-She starts dating someone named Walker
-She gets new job at a hospital working as an emergency tech
-She's still seeing Glover on the side in 2020, not sure if sexual/friends with benefits, or if Walker knows
-Glover uses her car to visit the trap houses, one of which was under police surveillance
-Glover drove his own car(red Dodge Charger) to her place multiple times, verified by photos and tracker that police put on his car
-Glover and his associate are arrested for a string of charges
-While in jail, Glover calls Breonna and someone else and talked about how Breonna has his 18k/8k and is "taking care of his finances", not realizing that jail phone calls are all recorded
-Breonna bails Glover and his associate out of jail
-Detective claim that drug packages were dropped off at her address and said postmaster confirmed it, but later the postmaster disputed that claim
-Regardless, with the above claim as evidence plus additional police surveillance evidence(43 pages worth) and phone recordings detectives suspect Breonna to be hoarding the money for Glover for drug dealings and drugs and presented the evidence and obtained a no knock warrant from a judge. They also obtain warrants for the two trap houses.
-No knock warrant for her turned into a knock warrant

-Around midnight in March 13?, 2020 plainclothes(!) police perform a warrant to search Breonna's apartment. Her name and address was on the warrant(previous media mistakenly reported that police had the wrong apartment).
-Police say they knocked and announced themselves, 1 witness agreed, 11 other witnesses disagreed. Walker says that they knocked but did not announce themselves.
-Walker and Breonna woke up to the knocking. Walker grabbed a gun and he and Breonna are in the hallway. Walker claimed that Breonna asked "who dat". It is at this point that it's unsure whether Walker knows about Breonna's involvement in the drug dealing with Glover. Walker claims that he thought it was a gangbanger invading.
-What happened next is a bit iffy: police was in the process of breaking the door down when Walker, not knowing that it was the police, fired a shot through the door and hit an officer in the leg.
-Upon being fired on, 3 officers proceed to shoot dozens(20+) of shots in response, some hitting other apartments, but hitting Breonna 6 times(1 lethal, 5 nonlethal). Walker was unhurt, inciting rumors that he used Breonna as a shield.
-Police did not find any drugs or money in her apartment.
-Glover was arrested that same night elsewhere without incident
- At least one officer had a bodycam on him, but it was an outdated model and wasn't on. Narcotics division has different rules for requirements for bodycams

-Media freaks out about some innocent EMT who was purely sleeping when she was killed by police storming the wrong apartment. Induces outrage about police racism and brutality. We all know those facts are now wrong.

-Glover posted 50k bail then escaped and is still a fugitive.

-Fast forward to yesterday, the attorney general through a grand jury indicted only one of the 3 officers and only because he negligently discharged firearm that hit a neighboring apartment. No charges against any of the 3 officers regarding Breonna's death because they rightfully had the right to use lethal force upon being fired at.

-This resulted in at least 2 officers being shot tonight in Louisville because of Burn Loot Murder. One was black. Luckily they're both expected to survive.

Where do you find all this chit?

If people are as woke as they say they are, how can all these incidents be viewed as heroic, injustices, etc?

Again, the problem comes back to accountability. Degrading qualified immunity would go a long way toward ensuring police behave responsibly.
Degrading qualified immunity will kill society. Bad actors do not receive QI. Plus, not liking someone doesnt make them firable. It's a job like any other HR standard.

Please inform me why charging him was incorrect because in theory he would have "gotten" away with it.

It's the justice system, its how it works. He hasn't been convicted and has a right to be released. Bond is to ensure he does. I'm certain someone is out a **** ton of money that put up the collateral for him.

I don't remember anybody protesting when cops actually murdered an innocent guy in his own home, but they protest for lowlives.

I was going to reply to him again but it's just useless. Big sweeping statements without facts or circumstances to back them up.

Could not agree more. I'm in Aus but this situation in the US is crazy to me. The media is literally creating a narrative and dividing your country. Making up stories. How did such a proud country start hating itself? It blows my mind

Everybody blames LEOs because it's easy. Not sure how open the courts are in the US but I say this to everyone here in Aus. Go to the courts. Sit in and listen. See what lawyers do and argue. See what judges factor into bail desicions and sentencing. There are bigger problems in the cog the police

This. Arrest for interview, charging and beyond reasonable are all different thersolds. Taylors case imo is not about qualfied immunity. It's a policy/legal one.

Walker's allowed to be armed. Officers obtained a legal warrant. Officers were fired upon. Legally allowed to defend themselves. Walker felt like someone was breaking and entering. Legally allowed to defend himself to a degree. The question is why do two such upstanding members of the public feel the need to shoot throw a door for suspected 'gangbangers'?

Also that other guy talking about only 1 statement corroborated officers annouced themselves. Those other 11 people are locked into a story now. Can't change it without losing creditability. This is important
