I had the line 6 bogner tube head half stack for live performances. It was amazing at how many diff amp styles I could emulate with near perfection all in one head. I highly recommend the tubed version as I’ve had other line 6 products as well. They’ve came such a long way in the past 20 years with effects it’s really amazing.

Is it better than Yamaha THR10X? Thinking of buying a second practise amp for another room in the house. Although I wouldn't mind a pedal to switch between channels.

I have a THRII and it's outstanding. The tone is incredible. Plus I have mine in a very public part of the house so the fact that it looks like a fancy speaker rather than backline is a big plus for me.

If I wanted to gig I'd get a Katana 50 or 100 depending on the firepower you need. For jamming in my home office the Yamaha took it, hands down.

Had a line 6 ux2 w/ podfarm.

If you havent tried out amplitube 4, do it. Best modeling system hands down. Blows pod farm 2.5 out of the water. They have lots of certified amps from mesa boogie and engl.

And if you still use pod farm, id suggest getting a real EQ/compression/tube screamer pedal. There are tons of really good sounding chinese pedals that you can get for $18-24 new.

I already have the Yamaha and love it. Crazy tones for such a small thing and looks pretty aesthetic on my desk. Was wondering about trying something different for my other room if I wanna play in there.

Meh, too much preference in tone and character for an all in one option. But for the most part you're right. Nobody listening really gives af about you anal sounding fuzz, OD delay whatever. It's best to focus on the sound you can get from the guitar. Tone is in your fingers.

Couldn't you say the same about using a laptop and a fuk load of software/plug-ins? If you're not gigging... guitar rig or plenty of other cool stuff. But I guess that can get expensive too
