The concept of black lives matter I dont mind. Although it is a bit exaggerated.
The movement in itself is absolute nonsense and its doing more harm than good.

Idk. Embarrassed not really but more so disappointed I guess.
The concept and basic ideology most will agree with but the execution is terrible.
Also sad to see the movement get highjacked and overtaken by white liberals, women and lgbtq, but these are the consequences when there is no male leader, and the double edge of the “woke” social media.
BLM Women regularly attack (black) men about not being woke enough as well.
Movement has gotten very large but there is no clear organizational, influential head like a gandhi, mlk or Malcolm so the widespread unrest was only inevitable.

Visited my parents last week. It's rough.
I was discussing how annoying it was in the past, always having to be the most polished, well-spoken version of myself in corporate america so i don't get lumped in with the stereotypes the media makes of my people. NOW i have to "wear" blm wherever i go too. One of the VPs at my job asked me if i wanted to speak to the organization about "the black experience" and inclusion and it triggered me a bit. I appreciate them wanting to include cultures and everyone, but i've been black 30 fuking years. i've been in corporate america 8 years, this is the first year i've been asked to speak about being black because it's the trendy corporate america thing to do. I refuse to be a fuking puppet in this blatant pandering. i'm going to be black when this blows over and the media finds some other topic to divide the country. It was indians/arabs after 9/11.
My mom, bless her heart, is naive and thinks how can people misinterpret how it's meant to be interpreted as "black lives matter, too". but my dad said she was being stupid because that whole calm/naive interpretation is getting thrown out the window by the criminals looting. he also snapped about police defunding saying something along the lines of "fuk that, i want MORE police in our neighborhood to keep these clowns under control".
Honestly it's a mess. On one hand you do want all races and people to be on equal, level playing field. But on the other hand it is just so god damn blatant that higher powers are using BLM as a political weapon going into election. I refuse to take no part in it personally, but i'm not one of those self-hating blacks either that bend over backwards for the acceptance of white people. I am who i am, i'm just trying to navigate life peacefully, become successful and do right by the people i come in contact with.

BLM isn't about blacks
it's about pro trannys/gender expression, ageism (P33d0) sh*t. and dismantlement of the nuclear family
they already been exposed. that's why they have been removing pages from their website because they are happy to take donations from the people they hate. but don't want the donations to stop. they already made 10s of millions off the dumb sheep thinking they are fighting for the rights of blacks
they actually hate black hetero men

Most black people I come across on YT are anti-BLM as they see that it doesn't care about black lives. It just hijacks and misrepresents the deaths of black people killed by white cops, to push their anti-Western, anti-Police agenda. It was done with George Floyd and then with Breonna Taylor.
It was never about black lives, otherwise they would not be so quiet about the black lives lost to drugs, disease, or black-on-black violence.
It's a Marxist militia working for the Democrats.

It’s embarrassing, they’re clearly being used as political pawns but are too emotional and stupid to see it
I’d be more ashamed if it didn’t look like much of BLM was self hating whites. And white people should be embarrassed their race is cucking themselves into 2nd class citizenship over guilt, no other race would allow a fringe group to control them like this

IMO media makes some things seem bigger than they really are. IRL the majority of people just want to be treated fairly and with respect while working to make the best of this life.
I made a long post about that yesterday that was immediately closed before anyone could even comment. I didn't post it to R&P because so many people avoid that section (understandably) and it was meant to be about how media creates this false perception while the majority isn't represented in the major media, social media, or the major party platforms.

As I understood it, the spirit of the idea was always "hey after Eric Garner, we feel like we're not as valuable as everyone else. our lives matter TOO" i.e. all americans matter, a black (or any color person) doesn't deserve to die because he was selling cigarettes on the street.
I don't know anything about a movement for ending capitalism, defunding police, anarchy, antifa, any of that fukery. That's why i'm pissed. This is one more thing i have to "wear" just being a black dude. Unaware white people see the looting and riots on the news, see me enter a restaurant and just assume i'm wit all that chit. it's fuking garbage.

And I was kind of confused about the big outcry against feminism because my concept of feminism was really just fairness and respect. I recently saw this video describing third wave feminism and I'm like "um, how is that feminism?"
Starts out speaking on exploitation of underage/young girls. Farther in describes third wave feminism as encouraging women to use their sexuality to exploit men instead of encouraging them to succeed in life by achieving real accomplishments.

Starts out speaking on exploitation of underage/young girls. Farther in describes third wave feminism as encouraging women to use their sexuality to exploit men instead of encouraging them to succeed in life by achieving real accomplishments.
And I was kind of confused about the big outcry against feminism because my concept of feminism was really just fairness and respect. I recently saw this video describing third wave feminism and I'm like "um, how is that feminism?"

Honestly? No, but the way BLM executes it? Yes
Racism does exist, but at the same time when some people are kneeling and chit for every single thing... it does get exhausting and forced. Like it's ok lol we are all humans too. That whole "Say her Name" is cringe.
All I ask for is Police Reform, and Healthcare. *Takes Knee* Is that too much to ask?
