Breaking Bad is good but I think it could have been much better with someone other than Bryan Cranston. I don't think Bryan really pulled everything out of Walter White that he could have. I can picture Walter White as much more nerdy AND much more bad ass. Like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Bryan did a **** job at that. Compare Cranston to Giancarlo Esposito in that show. It isn't even close.
Tony on the other hand..perfection.

How could anyone ever think that Breaking Bad is better than the Sopranos?

Breaking Bad is nowhere near that level.

Couldn't make it past the first season of the Sopranos. I've listened all my life to how great of a show it was and really tried forcing myself, but it was so boring.

It's the opposite actually. The first two seasons were so raw and real, then it got more and more like a big budget movie, I can barely even watch the last season.

That last season was completely ridiculous, so many random dumb things like that.
