Where did the young crowd go

No offence to some of you (or most maybe) but all the people left here are some old ass dudes in their 30's or late 20's at least.

Forums like KTT are super active full of young dudes but their registration is closed so I have to stick around with the old heads here.

Were u guys just too old to make the switch to platforms the younger guys were using?

Misc has been good but in decline. As a 32 year old why would I try to cling to my youth and move to tiktok etc? Its undignified.

Nothing more pathetic than being the 23 year old at a high school party..

Most of us spent our early 20's here, no new growth so not a lot of young new guys showing up. Just a bunch of sick kunts rotting away together.

It's pretty rare for people under 25 to be frequent posters on forums. Oftentimes message boards have kind of a young vibe, then you eventually start connecting dots from posts and find out everyone is in their 30s. This place people are just more open about their age.

Idk i was talking about this recently how there are like no younger people on the internet anymore all of the old forums are dead and misc is a bunch of older dudes. Even on Reddit most people say they are like 27-30. Idk anyone who posts on social media irl either besides older people. Like my FB feed has been dead for years.

Yeah age-wise I'm an older dude, but I generally hang with a much younger crowd. But I haven't even considered downloading TikTok, and the only reason I have Snapchat is to bang younger girls. It's a terrible app though.

young people communicate via personal networks (group sms chats, snapchat threads, tik tok/insta dms etc)

they dont have public discussions like millenials did via ********, forums, twitter, blogspot etc.

so in a way, EOD is right in that there are not that many young people on the standard internet. many zoomers are fairly computer illiterate too.

Because there are so many communities out there now. Reddit has a lot of different subs you can be apart of talking about specific interests. Twitch has streamers who have built their own communities. ******** are a bunch of boomers with their own communities. Misc has been on the decline for years now, but it's still one of the few communities where locker room talk is acceptable and can call each other *******s without having to worry about getting banned. SJWs wouldn't be able to handle this forum for more than 5 minutes

4chan is a bit too trollish and racist for my taste. The misc is a good middle ground

I use to post on the bodybuilding groups on usenet 25 years ago.
We just keep rebranding the same concept as something fresh to the next set of kids. Kids are always going to want to get on something their parents are not on so this is never going to end.
