Lol at people who dont own OLED TV's
Brb best picture quality
Brb games + movies look fkkn insane and better than reel life
Brb everyone is mirin how thin your screen is
Brb tv looks majestic in your entertainment hub
Brb who even needs to go to the theatre when your tv has a better picture than the screen (added bonus for home theatre system)
Blows my mind people still have regular tvs in their home or watch stuff on their phone/ipad like some povertycel trader.

For movies and 3D, I still prefer a bigger screen so I use my projector. 165'

I have a 4k. That’s all I know. It’s an intelligent tv so I can get apps and stuff. I definitely know I’m not using it to it’s capabilities. I really just watch hockey and play games occasionally. The rest it’s just background noise as im doing other ****.

Of course picture quality of a good TV is even better, it's a tradeoff between that and screen size. In my opinion, for a theater experience, the latter is far more important as long as the former is good enough.
I have a good TV too, use it mostly for news, games, and series. When the first affordable 150' TVs are available, I will switch.

Yea, they're great. Except on shows/movies that aren't in 4K.
They go hand in hand. OLED is only great if you're watching in 4k, which not everything you want to watch is on.

Tell where I lie.

OLED is still relatively expensive and most people don't know or even really care about the PQ. Marketing is what drives most people to buy their stuff, which is why the superior Plasma faded away and these inferior LED/LCD TV's are still around.
I have the last model Plasma that Samsung made in 2014 still and it's their top tier. The only TV's I've seen that look better are the higher end OLED's and those fukkers cost ~$2k. I'm just gonna keep my plasma til it dies.
Once I'm in the market I'm definitely getting OLED though since I appreciate good video quality. Dolby Cinema would blow away any home setup though because they use dual 4K laser projectors, which means they get as dark as OLED's and their audio setup in those theater's is insane.
