You Brahs Mirin My Garden? (Pics)

Growing 3 different types of radishes, 3 different types of spinach, giant swiss chard, beets, 3 different types of carrots, mixed lettuce, started a mixed pot of radishes/lettuce/kale, and my herbs I have growing are basil, parsley, thyme, rosemary, mint, oregano, dill, lavender, sage, arugala (was crushing but is getting wrecked right now), and cilantro.

Fresh vegetables with no GMO, no pesticides, not stored in plastics or travelling in trucks.

Straight backyard fall/winter vegetables and herbs.

Not sure why everything looks so yellow in the pictures but everything but the arugala is actually dark green. Sun making it seem yellow.

srsly though mirin

homegrown is much better and more satisfying. i'd love to be completely self sutainable

Haha nah I would if I were into it.

Yea dude it has been a hassle managing bugs and taking measures to deal with fungus or preventing it, but overall extremely satisfying. When I harvest them too, all the leafy greens come back again with 10-12 days to eat again.

All this within 30 days exactly. The herbs and some of the pots with less stuff I started between 1 and 2 weeks ago.

Hell yea bro. I have a pot and mustard greens that I completely forgot to start this weekend. Next year I'll be adding in more like peppers, collards, etc.

Btw arguala crushes hard, but don't do what I did and overcrowd the pot. Ended up having a phosphorous deficiency and half of the leaves turned purple. Just had to cut away a lot. Sucks.

They probably taste better and are more nutritious being grown outside despite all the challenges of upkeep

Would be interesting to compare taste with herbs grown in those indoor LED/UV gardens

Yea I'm excited to try them. Over the winter I have grow lights set up for herbs and I am going to do microgreens. So I'll see what the difference is.
