So I've been talking to a bumble girl for a few days (took a few days because she only checks her app like once a day I guess).
Eventually say we should meet up this weekend and she says yes just tell her where and when. I tell her and get radio silence... for 3 days lol
Now that it's Sunday she got back to me saying sorry for taking so long to get back to me. Sloths gonna sloth. Guess I'll leave her on read

I have good friends, but they still lead their own life and have their close relationship reserved with their wives/children. Which is fine, that's typical.

I'd love to have a really close BFF tbh. That isn't my romantic partner. Because that can get ripped away easier.
Yes, I completely understand what you're talking about. My friends are busy with their lives and their families. Of course if I needed them they would be there for me, but I don't like bothering people with my problems. With him it was just different.

As for the professional matchingmakinx service, there is eHarmony and match. They cost money, but you get what you pay for. The free apps have a lot of guys who want hookups.
Well, it couldn't go on forever.

As for Match, from talking to friends that are on there, it seems that a lot of the guys on there are also on all the free apps.

F her. It's very obvious when people go silent on weekends/week nights what is going on. A lot of times those people who do are in relationships.

yeah also it's one thing if someone doesn't check their app everyday. Even though that's hard to believe since people are glued to their phones 24/7 now.
But she literally said yea to hanging out this weekend then checked back in on Sunday afternoon just lol

Just treat her with reciprocal priority. That’s how I deal with people.

You have very early signal on her (poor) character, so do with that as you wish.

Let me ask you a question: How old are you? Cause you seem to be making the same mistakes as a dude who's a teenager real talk.

I'm not trying to be disparaging but seriously you're making such dumbass amateur mistakes.

She ain't interested in you...at all LOL.

You keep wasting time trying to talk for 3 days straight smh.

If a woman takes a whole day to reply back to me, I chalk it as she ain't interested and move on (unmatch and delete her number off my phone) instead of replying back and then waiting another day for her to reply back. No one is that busy they can't reply in a timely manner.

I'm 32. She always replied at around the same hour (late for me and I'm asleep). So it took us 4 days to exchange 4 messages. I assumed she just limits her time on the app to that one time in the day. It's not a big deal, not crying about it. Just checking and assuming ghosting her was the right idea

and btw sometimes I take almost 24 hours to respond to girls I'm interested in... doesn't mean I don't value them. I'm just busy most of the time and don't feel like being on the app multiple times a day

Low interest doesn't mean no interest. No reason to cut someone off when you are putting almost zero effort into entertaining them. Either you build higher interest or you don't. Just don't put all your eggs in one basket. Keep pursuing other options.

Yup, just invest reciprocally. Great strategy in dating and life generally.

I’ll usually put forth initial effort, then if I get lazy one word responses, she’s deprioritized. Almost always that means end of conversation.

In that sense I agree with BlackScorpio - don’t feed women attention, there’s plenty of other betas doing it.

Any reason in particular you don't date within your religion?

Options too limited? Majority of the people in your religious community too traditional?

Just brokeup with a girl i dated for nearly 2 years who was Shia (Muslim). Obv we were respectful of eachothers believes and values (I'm an atheist) but my situation (divorced with a kid) was a huge factor in us not moving forward and becoming more serious (meeting families/planning a future) and I believe the cultural differences/pressures she faced had a lot to do with it.

Would you guys bang a co worker? Someone I work with is coming over mine over the weekend. Have never had experience in this with a co worker so don’t know if this is a possible bad idea?

Generally a bad idea unless you plan on quitting or getting married. If she dumps you and starts fcucking your boss you're in for a rough road.

Not a good idea if a direct coworker. If your company is big and she's in a different dept and doesn't work within close physical proximity to you I don't see anything wrong with dating. Just hooking up though is risky.

no.

Woman who works for my company in a different department?
maybe.

If she was hot enough and if I really wanted to date her.

otherwise nope.

I still don’t know how to link several comments in one reply so.... she is a female that works for my company in a different department. I don’t know if I have any real interest in dating her and I don’t think she has any real interest of dating me either. Is this something that we should clarify with eachother before she comes over or shall I just take it as it comes....or should I just bail on the whole situation?

just hang, bang, then profess your undying love so when she ghosts she can't lie and say you just used her for sex.

I met my wife at work so yeah dating a co-worker was fine BUT it was not a career job and this was in a place that didn't have a heavily involved HR department or too many busybody employees.

Ye, I'd be pretty paranoid unless I knew the girl really well, that things could head south and she'd report me to HR or something nasty.

I understand how there may potentially be risks but unless me and her done something illegal I don’t see how anything could jeopardise my position within the company that could involve HR. I know several people within the office that bang/are together.

Maybe I could just get her to sign a NDA lol

I mean, probablyit'll be fine. But if you fuk her, then she gets attached, then you don't want to get attached, her crazy might come out.

And you really don't want that vindictive type that goes to HR with those types of charges against you.

It's very low probability, but you can better assess the risk if you know her a bit better.

A coworker who works in a different department AND the job is a dead end and I'm gonna leave anyway?

Maybe

Definitely not when I'm still working there and she works in the same department as me and I'm hoping on getting promoted.

Now if I have quit and I went back to holla at my previous female coworker then most likely yeah.

It's very low probability, but you can better assess the risk if you know her a bit better.
had a woman I was dating almost 20yrs ago at work.
caught her two-timing me with another co-worker and ended it.
didn't say anything just told her it was over.

she knew I knew and went into damage control mode.

anyway she tried to get me fired by telling her manager I was stalking her.
i wasn't a cubicle peon so the manager called me to her office to talk to me.
I pulled up my cell phone bill on her PC and showed her all the numerous calls this chick had made to me since I cut her off.
then started playing the VM's she left me.
got to the 3rd and she just told me I had nothing to worry about.

I "owned" one of their department apps so if it crashed or wouldn't run they called me.
she was breaking it on purpose so i'd come to her desk.
I got someone else to take over that for me and when that happened her app stopped breaking.
Weird huh?

The manager was a woman who had my back and basically told her to STFU or GTFO.

that would be the crazy coming out you speak of.

kind of turned me off women at work for a little while.
